Camera-Seeking Fan with Sign Causes Enormous Pileup at Tour de France: A fan holding a sign and mugging for TV cameras caused a massive collision of riders at the first stage of the Tour de France. The tour is going to sue the fan, who fled and has not been identified.

Billsaysthis Crushed the Euro 2020 Pickem in Round 1: The European Soccer Pickem is taking picks now for the knockout stage games that begin Saturday at noon Eastern. Canadiens Advance to Stanley Cup Final: The Montreal Canadiens are returning to the Stanley Cup Final for the first time since winning it in 1993. There hasn't been a winner north of the Maple-Poutine Line (or whatever the border is actually called) since that championship. Montreal will attempt to do what couldn't be done over that span by finalists Vancouver (1994, 2011), Calgary (2004), Edmonton (2006) or Ottawa (2007).

Leader Jon Rahm Forced Out of Memorial by Positive Covid Test: Right after he completed the third round six strokes ahead of everybody else on Saturday, Memorial leader Jon Rahm was told he had tested positive for Covid and would not be allowed to play the final round. The circumstances suggest Rahm had not been vaccinated, because under PGA rules, a player must be tested regularly after a close contact to someone with the virus unless they are fully vaccinated. CBS Sports was wrapping up the broadcast and had no idea what was going on with Rahm.

Falcons Trade Julio Jones to Titans: The Tennessee Titans have acquired wide receiver Julio Jones and a 2023 sixth-round pick from the Atlanta Falcons for 2022 second-round and 2023 fourth-round picks. Jones, 32, has the best per game receiving yards average in NFL history at 95.5 yards. His salary is $23.05 million this season, second among wideouts. Tennessee lost wide receiver Corey Davis and tight end Jonnu Smith in free agency.
