Victor Wembanyama Out for Season Over DVT in Shoulder: San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama will miss the rest of the season after a deep vein thrombosis (DVT) was detected in his right shoulder. The reigning rookie of the year was an all-star this season putting up big numbers: 24.3 points, 11.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists and a league-leading 3.8 blocks.

Former NFL Punter Chris Kluwe Arrested for Civil Disobedience: Chris Kluwe was outspoken when he was a Minnesota Vikings punter and continued to be Tuesday at a Huntington Beach, California, city council meeting. Kluwe spoke against a local library plaque sneaking in a tribute to MAGA, called the movement "profoundly corrupt" and "explicitly a Nazi movement," then declared he was engaging in "peaceful civil disobedience" right before he walked onto the meeting stage. He's charged with disrupting an assembly.

Daytona 500 Crash Sends Ryan Preece's Car Airborne: William Byron won the Daytona 500 after a last-lap crash took him from ninth to first. Shortly before that a crash sent Ryan Preece airborne at Nascar's biggest race. His car looked like it popped a wheelie then flipped over multiple times. Preece was OK but he said later that when it happened "all I thought about was my daughter."

Eagles Crush Chiefs in Super Bowl 0x3B: The Philadelphia Eagles took a 34-0 lead over the Kansas City Chiefs, put in their backups and coasted to a 40-22 victory, ending the Chiefs bid for a threepeat. Jalen Hurts threw for two touchdowns and tush-pushed a third, winning MVP. The Eagles defensive front could have shared that award, sacking Patrick Mahomes six times and pressuring him into two interceptions.
