Wow, I do wonder if this is really Tommy Lasorda who is blogging. Dodger Thoughts is one hell of a blog. He even scored an interview with Depodesta.

Man, the Steelers are looking pathetic. I was unable to watch the other game, my power went out for most of the Eagles game.

I cant remember if I sent mine out late or not. I was right in the middle of moving and legal stuff involved with moving. If I didn't, let me know, and I will send you a mix. As for this time around, I am afraid I cannot do it. I'd still like to see what people make up though.

The Vick's Going Down Bowl: Rams by 7 The Eagles Can Win Without T.O. Bowl: Eagles by 10 The Big Ben Rookie Tour: Steelers by 13 The Brady is a Baby Bowl: Colts by 6 I would love to see a Rams/Eagles matchup. I would love for the Jets to win, especially if the Colts win. I really do not think Brady is a baby, it just sounded good.

Four points for picking the right teams but I stink at guessing spreads. I am surprised, though, at how many of you picked the Packers to win.

It ended up that it didn't matter. I beat my opponent 147-126. My final line-up included Martin and Bettis (as well as Manning, Harrison, Burleson, Gonzalez, Lindell, and the Colts D. From all accounts, not a bad line-up for a 12 team league. I was 11th in the draft too. Everyone before me picked the name RB's. My first two picks were Manning and Harrison. Then Westbrook and Martin came in the picks after. Much better than my spofi league draft.

I am in the finals in my first ever pay and keepers league. I have three running backs and only two positions. Who do I start? Curtis Martin, Jerome Bettis, or Brian Westbrook? I think Martin should be a definite, but I am not sure about the other two. The Steelers play the Ravens, their only loss this year, at home. The Eagles play the Rams. Receptions are .5 points. Every ten reception and rushing yards are worth 1 point. I am concerned that Westbrook might not get the same amount of looks as usual as the D might focus on him without having TO on the field. On the flip side, I am worried about Bettis playing against the Ravens D. Good folks of SpoFi, I need your infinite wisdom so I can take home the pot.

usfbull: Vin Scully didn't make the East Coast trip so Rick Monday was announcing. It is rumored though that he will travel east when they play the Blue Jays in the middle of June, which I hope to see, if I have any money left after closing on our house June 1st. I met Vin once in Montreal. Very nice guy. I was a kid, messing around outside of the hotel (we always stayed at the same hotel as the team). I ran around a corner to catch a glimpse of a really gorgeous lady walking by and I ran right into Vin. Almost knocked him over.
