If I am a Cowboy fan the only thing I am pissed off about is that Jones didn't give him the boot before Coles and Houshmanzada had settled in elsewhere.

The Show = jbou.
I got a gift in the first round, Wade falling to the 8th spot was like getting Rolex when you were expecting a Timex.
I took the rookie gamble at the end of the draft with Mayo and Rose.
Overall I think I am going to crush you all!! Haha.

The article is wrong, football is and always will be the easiest game to gamble on, and it has a monopoly on Sunday sports viewing. Any other analysis is a waste of time.

Will Pete leave USC for the NFL? If Pete feels he has something to prove in the NFL then yes, he will leave, but if Pete is happy where he is, and has no burning desire for redemption, then no, he will not go anywhere. If I was him I'd be very happy coaching at USC, and being treated like a king in so cal.

Sorry, but not everybody engages in $11,000 worth of larceny while in college. As far as the punishment fitting the crime, I'll make you a deal: you go steal four laptop computers, get caught, then face the consequences. If you get off without jail time, I'll admit that you're 100% right. Get yourself a good lawyer and you will not face jail time if you are a first time offender. Jails are too full to be locking up every person who does something dumb like grabbing a few laptops, now climb down off your high horse and embrace reality.

it's time for the Yankees to trade A-Rod for a bunch of youngsters, and offer to pay half his salary to boot. The Yankees need to rebuild with youth. I'm sick and tired of this 80's flashback, next they'll be signing steve kemp and Ed Whitson. A-Rod has failed two years in a row to step up in the playoffs, he's no Scott Brosius. Gaudy numbers during the season do not impress me.

As one of the first Yankee fans out here to be a total dick I'll step up and actually be nice. Ortiz was playing out of his skull the last month and if I had a vote for MVP he'd get it. Both the Sox and Yanks have had injuries that would criplle other teams but both of them have made the playoffs and all is right in the baseball world. As for who wins the world series... Yankees over the Braves in 6 games.

Let's guess who the real leader is on the team. Who are the other teams really gunning for if it isn't Jeter or A Rod? It's Matusi, him and his translator are known for their wild team bonding parties and leadership. BTW, I heard an interview with Sheff a month ago saying that the Yankees had rallied aroud each other, and were never closer. I have to ask, Sheff, why you hatin?

If Shaq wants 30 million he should be held to some standards, if he gains weight money comes off the top, if he fails to play in a certain amount of games money comes off the top, if he was 28 I'd say yes without all the caveats, but now that he's old he has to give up a little to get what he wants.

It's funny, it looks like the Red Sox, and a few other teams have finally broken the Yankee code. Oh well, I'm roooting for whomever is in first place in the NL East from now on, I'm buying hats for all five teams and checking the standings each morning and I'm wearing the hat of the first place team. I suffer enough working for the Democrats so in the shallow world of sports I just want to feel good, is that too much to ask? Of course if the Yankees are in first place I reserve the right to be their fan again too. That's right I'm a flip flopper.

wfrazerjr, stop the nonsense, I was watching this game and Sheff did not just "run" into the fan, the guy bent over and took a swipe at him. It looked like the guy was trying to mess up the play but not actually punch or hurt Sheff, kinda like A rod's bitch move in last year's playoff game.

As for Reggie White, he was a great football player, and the things he said off the field don't much concern me, and iirc steroids was never an issue wih him, he was always a stocky guy with natural ability, he just didn't have that roided out look. And i should know I played with guys who were pumping the juice in their asses when I was at the Cuse. No, Kobe is fine, he's doing his little press tour right now trying to make things right with Shaq, and Malone was out of line if what has been reported is true. Now, you know who needed a Big Brother? Mike Tyson needed a big brother, someone as big as George Foreman, and with a chin like Randall Tex Cobb, you could have hit Cobb with a bulldozer and he'd have gotten up when the ref hit five in the count. Mike needed a big brother that would tell Don King to go to hell, tell him to keep training, and one to drag him out of the room before he rapes a woman. Ok, maybe I was jumping the gun on Kobe, looking at my reasons for Tyson, Kobe could use a big brother too.

Security personnel and ushers tried to break it up. Former Pistons player Rick Mahorn, who was seated courtside as a Detroit radio analyst, tried to stop the brawl in the stands. Detroit's Rasheed Wallace and Indiana's David Harrison were also in or near the stands trying to break up the fights.
You know this was really fucked up when Rick Mahorn and Rasheed Wallace are playing peacemaker.

You all that say Ford is the frontrunner to be the first black President don't know that Obama has a primetime speaking slot at this year's dem national convention, it's his coming out party. Ford does not have the resume that Obama has, and Obama is the strongest public speaker the Dems have other then Slick Willie.

Ditka is the sacraficial lamb, the GOP in Illinois is a god awful mess. Obama is the Dem running for Senate in Illinois, he is well funded, well liked, and is the best prospect the Dems have to be the first black President. Most fans of Ditka have died of a polish sausage induced heart attack, so the GOP can't count on their votes.

Soriano will be a Yankee again in two years, he'll be patrolling centerfield and Nick Johnson will be back too, the Yanks are just loaning the Rangers and Expos a couple of players till they become free agents. Jeter should volunteer to move to second base not third, his range is slipping but he's still athletic enough to play 2nd base.

If the Sox get A-Rod and Maggs for Nomar and Manny then Epstein should get the GM of the century award, it's the best moves I''ve ever seen a GM make. This kid has been nothing short of brilliant so far. Sox vs Yankees games are going to be better then ever this year. Of course, I can't dish out all this praise for the Sox without getting a dig in. The Sox are still the Sox, so I expect something to go wrong for them. It's the Curse vs Epstein's gang of greatness, will the Kid's gang be able to overcome the Bambino's Ghost? Stay tuned to NESN this year sports fans for the answer.

Congrats to jbou for defeating moi in the spofi basketball league.
Why is it not very sportsmanlike to play by the rules? yahoo allows me to add and drop as many players as I'd like in a given week, I did nothing wrong.
BTW, I won this league because 8 people passed on Dwayne Wade and someone gave up on Antwan Jamison and dropped him early on and I had the number two spot on the waiver wire.
