I read his autobiography more than a few years back and I came out liking him what he did is his own business and according to an interview I saw of him this past winter on 60 minutes he is sober now hey more power to him you know he did make an ass of himself on national tv that probably still hangs over him

The Cardinals just peaked at the right time last year much like the White Sox did the previous year as far as the orioles they seem to do well for awhile and by mid june their out of it just an observation I 've been seeing

We either hate or we love him to me I hate him he's the cockiest announcer on tv and always lets you know he played football My big memory of him is him breaking his leg on Monday Night Football from a big hit from Lawrence Taylor while his girlfrien Cathy Lee Crosby watched him at the time I'll admit Iwas rooting for him at the time to make a comeback which never happened even though he tried but I have never rooted for him again I would say good riddance but supposedly he's gonna still be working for them in a different capacity god he's one of the reasons I don't watch pre game shows to begin with

I still remember when America beat Colombia in a soccer game in 94 one of the Colombian players scored a goal for America then later on he was shot down cold I think in front of his home in Colombia It just makes you wonder in every game that's played their is a winner and a loser nobody likes ties how far do people go or how far does a Country go

In the 80's I went to a lot of Bears games and they had a guy by the name of Rocky leading cheers on the sidelines I remember one of his cheers was What's better than head the answer was Moorehead who was a tight end on the team I think he passed away too a number of years ago there is a place for these guys and they like doing it I'm sure he will be missed next season

Someday this Race thing has to end sorry I'm not racist but nowdays you can't say anything without offending someone some of these problems have to do with inner cities not keeping up their local baseball fields you know in the parks and losing sandlots to urban sprawl hey it's gotta suck and I don't blame kids for playing basketball or football it's a lot more fun to play those sports when your a kid I'm going to go back to the cycle it will turn around again but I hate for this to be a racial thing some day in my life I hope to never hear about race the color of a person's skin should mean no more than the color of their eyes

I am not a Pittsburgh fan I've been A lemieux fan and have always rooted for him through all his problems but you know it's bad when an owner threatens to move and even goes out to negotiate maybe it was just a threat I am very happy that Pittsburgh still has the Penguins and I wish them the best of luck in the future

Rickey's one of the all time players but ever since he broke Lou Brock's record and stated that he was the greatest I haven't even cared about him you know Jerry Rice came across that way to me once and I changed my mind but I don't think I ever will for Rickey I also traded his rookie topps card away in a stupid deal when I was a kid oh boy did I regret it for years but not anymore

Don't some sports go through a cycle there are a ton of Hockey Fans in america even after that stupid strike a few years back first of all there lucky fans did come back second of all the cycle will turn and hockey will become somewhat popular again I for one used to know a lot of players names when I was younger I could barely name anyone now I'm 38 too and I wonder what is going on with the NHL

Three kids messing around with snapping and kicking field goals over a soccer goal post when lo and behold a guy comes out to show us how to do it and he had a superbowl ring on him we were shocked his last name was Baker and he definetely showed us how to do it I looked him up in a Steelers book 25 years ago and their definetely was a guy with the last name baker on a steelers team I am still in awe when I think of this story I also think it's funny now that he had to show off his ring when he did this!

Great story and we have up here a few classless Bears Fans that are complete AH's I wouldn't believe it normally but I saw a Houston Chicago game back in '89 where a fight broke out after the bears lost can't apologize because I can't speak out for all Bears Fans but it was truly not true Bears fans that did this to end this I am so happy the saints fans still support their team and I wish them the best of luck in the future except when they play the Bears Go Saints
