Didn't I see a Simpsons' episode where all that shit happened to Homer? But this would make an excellent movie. I was thinking Jim Carey could play Johnny. I smell Oscar.

Tim Hardaway, the yin to Jon Amaechi's yang:

With all the hate this incident brought out, I doubt we'll be seeing too many (read 'zero') pro athletes or anyone contemplating coming out come out any time soon. Thats got to be a ton of weight to be carrying around, not being able to be who you are. You can't be who you are out of fear. That would suck.

All I know is that they're all evil. Shower with them? No freaking way. They'll eat you without a second thought. And don't bother trying to sleep around one. They'll eat your brain. And then they make those evil little baloon animals and have the flowers that squirt water in your face. Ha ha. Very funny you evil bastard. And what do you think those big feet are for? I'll tell you exactly what they're for. They're to STOMP you with. OK, I'm going to exercise my freedom of speech. I HATE CLOWNS!!

'Scuse me while I whip this out...

The fact he pissed in the street isn't the big deal. It's the fact he was drunk and didn't take a piss somewhere more discretely. He called attention to himself and investigation revealed he was DUI. Have many of us driven when perhaps we've had a few too many? I know I have in the past. Notice I said in the past. Most people in their early 20's don't always think too clearly, even when they're not buzzed. Hopefully he will be humbled by this experience and not let himself get in this kind of situation again. I think a little maturity contributes to better decision making. I know it did for me.

Terrell vs. DeAngelo -- Who Gives A Spit?

TO or not, it's bad sportsmanship to spit on someone. I don't think it matters who is involved, i.e. Favre, the Mannings, Brady or whoever. TO should be fined, but not suspended. As far as hocking one on Eli Manning, I think there are a lot of Giants fans who would gladly let him have it. "PTOOEY! Hey Eli, you're a fuckin' bum!" (in best Bronx accent).

Young Buckeyes considering NFL draft

Arrogant. When you're a fan of a great undefeated team like this year's Buckeyes, arrogant is good. Come on, if the shoe were on the other foot with the Wolverines as the undefeated team and the Bucks on the outside looking in, Michigan fans would be the same. We're just enjoying a season that doesn't come around very often.

Clevelander32, you pretty much hit it right on the head. But think about something. How sweet would it be to kick Michigan's ass TWICE in one year? That would be freakin' awesome. But Sydney 2000 would come up with some chicken-shit excuse like the team had too many White Castle's and had the shits. Nice.

I didn't attack anyone personally. It was a joke. You guys didn't think it was funny, so just move on. If I thought it was going to cause this much of a problem, I WOULD HAVE DONE IT SOONER! Bo Schembechler Dies on Eve of Michigan/Ohio State Game

I was born in Columbus forty-something years ago and have always been a Buckeye. I haven't missed a game since I was 3. It's always been the highlight of the season for me and my family. This game, not just tomorrow, but as long as they have been playing each other, is more than a rivalry. It's part of people's lives. People from Ohio and Michigan realize this. And I'm not disrespecting all the other great rivalries in college football, but Ohio State-Michigan is what college football is all about. Tomorrow's game will be a great game, I have no doubt. And I hope the Buckeyes lay it on the Wolverines. But as much as I hate Michigan, I'm thankful for them, too. Without Michigan, this week wouldn't hold the tradition and the memories I have of different years with different family members. I get to watch the game tomorrow with my Dad, so it will be another chance I have to stash away a memory. But if, God forbid, Michigan beats the Buckeyes tomorrow, I'll be OK with it. Because I know Bo had something to do with it.

Joe Frazier is still fighting Ali, three decades later.

Back then is when the heavyweight division had this glow about it. When there was a heavyweight championship coming up, you could feel the electricity in the air, and I never had the fortune to attend one in person. I was just a kid, but when Ali was fighting or Frazier was fighting or Foreman was fighting, man, it was exciting! The heavyweight division has been watered-down since those larger-than-life personalities moved on. From reading Smokin' Joe's autobiography, I agree with the author of this story about Frazier being hurt by Ali. When Ali called Joe a gorilla, it seemed to hit Joe hard. He couldn't understand why Ali would be so vicious, not knowing Ali was in pre-fight hype mode. Hope Joe lives the rest of his life in peace. He seems like a good man.

Barbaro fighting for his life

lbb, I don't think anyone can equate losing a loved one, that is a person, to losing an animal. Before I had my boys, I loved my 2 dogs tremendously. Now, I still love my dogs, but it's not nearly the same as my sons. I understand many people out there only have a dog or cat or whatever as their only companion. It's sad, I see it everyday on my job. But comparing people's sarcasm on this post about a horse some rich people own to us not caring about sending good vibes when a person loses a child is off base and kind of calloused. I've seen numerous fatal car accidents that have killed people young and old and rich and poor. A horse or a dog or any animal dying just can't be compared. So if my joking around or the term "fucking horse' makes me look like an asshole, that's just the way it is.
