My baking is mostly done, supper will be something simple, and I will be passing the Chalice at the late Eucharist tonight. The family goes to CT tomorrow for Christmas at my wife's stepmother's place, where we celebrate the annual setting off of the smoke alarm as the several sisters try once again to make Yorkshire pudding. Tradition is a wonderful thing. Getting all the football picks correct is also wonderful. How 'bout it, Santa?

Last week's results omitted the N.Y. Giants win by 7 over Miami on Monday night. Thanks to Jagsnumberone for catching that. When it was corrected, Goyoucolts was in a tie with Tommytrump for first place.
This week brings the first new leader in 10 weeks, as Grum@work scores a week-best 27 and takes a three-point lead over Tommytrump and Ic23b. Three more are within seven points of first.
