I am not a big fan of them myself Bill. The funny part is the guy slips in the beginning, on the easiest part of the whole thing. I'd have turned around right there!

"her kitty must be made of gold" I have heard this used many times before, and it has never been used to refer to a specific color. It is used to mean that the woman in question must have an actual "Golden kitty", as in one that is better then all of the others in the entire world. Otherwise the guy in question would not be so whipped by said "kitty." That being said, it is a sexist thing to say and does not belong on this site. Some other sports site, go right ahead. Here though we have a very good sized group of intelligent female posters that will take offense to comments like that. They should not have to be subjected to them on their site by a new poster that didn't read the guidlines well enough to be posting yet. So, if you got smacked down for it, just learn from it and quit making such a big deal out of your own lack of respect for everyone else on this site.

[vet] Thanks to the Spofi Gods for zapping that Man tapes jersey to child to chair nightmare! I was starting to think the actual Taper was a spofi member. I beleive it was things of that nature that summers eve was referring to when he said "When did sportsfilter become the "Extra" of sports news? If it's sports news and it bleeds it'll be tops on sportsfilter." I don't think it happens to the extent to cause anyone to quit. However it does need to be slowed down some, with over 16,500 members and counting everyday, I doubt it will ever be stopped completely. What I would like to suggest would be a link from the sign up guidelines, to the spofi.info page. That page has a lot more useful guidelines on it for the new user. Although the last time I checked the .info site all of the pages were blacked out. You had to click and drag the entire box you wanted to read to see the words.? Plus, we would get more use out of the .info site this way too. Just an idea.

The bathrooms at my school were worse than the local dive bar, it was hard to pee without the fear of catching something itchy. After they went 1-5 why didn't somebody tell those rough, tough football players to stand up and pee?

I was always told that it was a signal to the center that everybody was set. That he could snap the ball at will, kind of like a silent count. In as much as the defense had no clue how long after the foot raise the ball was actually comming. However, neither did the O-line or any other offensive player either for that matter.

I don't like the idea you have to post to have a worthwhile opinion. Allow me to elaborate some on this. I did not mean that you have to post to mean anything at all. Just that TCS had almost doubled mbd1's contributions to the site, and did it in less than a year. Plus TCS was not a bad poster, that is a lot to lose over things like mbd1's post from above. If thats what is even causing it now, and I doubt it is. One more thing, YYM what do you want to do with the king, in a shower?

I am using internet explorer 6.0 and I just get a part of a white box behind the google ads. It only does it in here and in a thread off of the front page, but not on the front page. Plus I still get the horizontal scroll bar. It does cover up some of the comments from spofites also.

Damn man I had no Idea either. If I get down that way I'll stop and have a drink with ya. I am not sure about that stout though, maybe some of these will be a little better. On a more humorous note I have a friend that I worked with at the fire station who lost his lower right leg in a motorcycle wreck. Now when the mail lady brings the mail to the station he takes his leg off and tells her "I'll show you mine if you show me yours!" Take care, and email if you ever want to chat.

Yessir Chico, she is most definitely over the age of 10, I promise. No music has been chosen yet though. There are just way too many choices right here to choose from! Not too mention TBH and the dancing. It's no smoking jacket, but it was all I could do on a yahoo search.

Thank you all for the congrats and the help so far. Crafty you have changed our plans to little Italy on Saturday, TBH start polishing those dancin' shoes(hopefully not all 17,000 pairs, people can do it themselves) and I'll get to work on the 17,000 and some odd invitations. Hawkguy I would love to see the pics you have, I was a little worried about the hotel part until you said that. DJE, we just over seeded this year. There should be plenty of "grass" for the oxen. I am still in need of a restaraunt for Friday night if anyone can help with some more choices I would be greatful. One more thing Crafty the hansom cab is a definate go. Thanks again!

Thanks terrapin! We are staying at the Marriot Marquis in times square, with city view room. It is suppoed to look out over times square. I was there(different hotel) several years ago, and loved it. Brandi has never been to NYC. We have been talking about marriage, but she has no idea I bought the ring.

I am guessing that this didn't help Joba's attitude towards Cleveland much. Funny little clip though after the great bug game of last year's playoffs.
