You tend to be remembered for the endings not the beginnings. Because of this many people are going to think of him as "the juicer guy," just one more infomercial pitchman.
LaLanne was far more than that, fearlessly pushing exercise and proper diet long before Americans caught up with the concepts. I say fearlessly because I'm sure lots of guys in the Mad Men era made fun of this guy wearing tights and doing jumping jacks on morning TV.
Eat more unprocessed foods and keep sugar to the minimum if not zero. Everybody gets it now even if they don't practice it. R.I.P. Mr LaLanne.

CNN is reporting that Australian search crews have made contact with missing teen sailor Abby Sunderland. This according to a family spokesperson. I hope the Australian goverment bills the parents for use of the Quantas Airlines A330 Airbus they chartered for the search.

Well that was a fairly quick investigation before they blamed the victim. Even the FAA normally takes months before announcing the inevitable pilot error reasoning. It's all about avoiding lawsuits and higher insurance premiums now.

She said Peterson was given a citation and allowed to drive away after what appeared to be a "very routine" traffic stop. The citation was given the night before the Lakewood, WA police murders. I suppose it was a "very routine" traffic stop at that time.

Twitter has since announced on June 6th what they are calling "verified accounts." These accounts will have a logo indicating that if the message is from some public official or agency then it really is them and not an impostor. I'd expect twitter hopes the rich and famous will be next in line for these verified accounts.

HCG was placed on the banned substances list last year not because it's a steroid, but because it's used as a masking agent for steroids.
