Great link. I watched Matias Steinner win the weightlifting gold. Just one of those lucky times where you're switching channels at an odd hour and you catch this thing, this hugely dramatic, heart wrenching story play out live, and then the sweetest most cathartic victory. The exact opposite of schaedenfreude. It was magic. And still so profoudly sad.
Man, some of the best stuff happens at the olympics.
I dated a Canadian Olympian. Twice. Yep. That was less than magic. But was profoundly sad. Hey, how about that?
