I will be away from the computer until after Xmas, so I just wanted to take this time and wish everyone on SpoFi a Merry Christmas (or Happy Chanukah or Lovely Kwanzaa or Excellent Festivus). I hope that everyone has a safe holiday.

I'm hoping I find a Stanley Cup Championship for the Toronto Maple Leafs in my stocking come Xmas morning. But Santa's screwed me out of it every year, so I'm obviously not that good a boy.

thanks Grummie and same to you. And a happy and safe holiday to everyone in our SpoFi family! Now if Santa would just bring Alex Rodriguez and Magglio to Boston, it'd be a holly jolly Christmas.

Oi Oi Oi! Let's hope your significant others come up with better ideas than mine, who gifted me mostly with underwear (and I mean normal Hanes briefs, not something sexual) for Hanukkah. What a laugher!

a rockets win over the lakers. and a new not so improved life. Are there women in Sarasota? I can't find them...

posted by forksclovetofu at 10:36 PM on December 25, 2003

I got a cold. /sniffle

posted by wfrazerjr at 12:51 PM on December 26, 2003

FCT, there are women in Sarasota, single women, but they probably average four times your age (and are widows).

I got "Don Cherry's Rock'em Sock'em Volume 15" DVD. I forgot to put it on my wish list this year and I STILL got it, keeping the 15 year tradition alive (albeit the last 3 have been DVDs instead of VHS tapes like before). I also got a ticket to go watch this team play tomorrow. It should be fun to see the game played at this level. I'm more interested in seeing this new building than I am the team, but I'll try to remember to take pictures with my favourite Xmas present.

Grum, that is one nice camera! Vito, I would not get excited just yet. Perhaps about 6 p.m. PST tonight but not just yet. What's the over/under on Barlow fumbles?

Is time for the Airing of Grievances yet? Or are we still doing the Feats of Strength? That usually comes after the relatives are done drinking.
