Though, the Ottawa PWHL club's facility is scheduled for renovations, shrinking capacity by over 2,000 seats.
The club regularly sells out or nearly so.
Oy.

Uhhhhhh, haha, the transit system in Ottawa is a work in progress. The powers that be rolled it out live likely a full year before they should have.
They seem to be working the bugs out slowly but surely.
The L.R.T. system has been plagued by glitches, literal freeze ups and accidents over the past number of years. The Senators plan to remain in the west end for ~5 more years. Hopefully the city will have extended (as is planned) stations to the far west end of the city by then. The biggest bus (OC Transpo, which according to family observations, is good) issue is the city/region has only one expressway, which is completely clogged on a daily basis. There are dedicated H.O. & Bus lanes, which help but not amazing.
The Senators are moving towards far more fans than they're moving away from. To the west, north, south of Kanata, there are bedroom towns, but no major population centres until you hit Kingston, ~200km away.

As a Maple Leafs fan with Senators fans in my family, fantastic news. Solidifies the Ottawa franchise in the nation's capital. A much more centrally located arena, allowing the club to draw fans more easily from western Quebec.

Brutal injury in Atlanta Detroit football game tonight with ~14 minutes left.
Lions safety Morice Norris took an accidental knee to head, on turf for a long time, ambulance off.
Atlanta snapped ball on next play, the clubs stood for 8+ minutes, then the officials called the game.

Did the judge's explanation clear things up at all?
All five players acquitted in Hockey Canada sexual assault trial
The judge spoke for 3.5 hours or so on the ruling today.
I would say yes her explanation did clear a few things up.
The long and short of it was that the crown did not prove the case beyond a reasonable doubt.
The accuser (E.M.)'s testimony was unreliable and inconsistent.
Me?
Gross, offensive things happened in that hotel room that evening.
I cannot honestly say that they rose to the level of criminal acts.
I regard the 5 accused as reprehensible individuals.
There is a culture of entitlement in the elite hockey community in Canada.
I am disappointed that this was the result, but legally was it correct?
Probably, yes.

Has been speaking for about 2 hours, expected to continue roughly another hour.
From what she has said so far, it 'seems' to be indicating a not guilty verdict will be delivered.

I'm similar NoMich, really dislike physical confrontations, I used to enjoy a hockey fight. We know too much about brain injuries now, I cringe. Physical play? Hell yes, clean, hard hockey.
A drunken blowhard lout on a golf course beaking off at a fit former NHL player? The 'sound effects' were 'chef's kiss'.
I have no issue with Tarnasky's actions, in fact, I think he restrained himself.
The local constabulary do not seem to have an issue with what Nick did either.

Yes, Expedia has places to stay from $68C/night. You could stay a little closer, in Medicine Hat for $82C/night, or Vulcan at $95C/night. Personally, I'd try to find a nice B&B in Fort Macleod, be sure to check out Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump UNESCO World Heritage Site while you're there.

Frankly, I saw it coming a kilometre away
My sister, an Ottawa Senators fan, sent me this earlier today
*with sympathies for the inevitable loss the club suffered yesterday*
'Two Maple Leafs fans died and arrived in Hell. Lucifer went to check on them and found them laughing and having fun. Lucifer asked why they were happy. They said it was nice to be somewhere warm instead of experiencing winter in Canada. The Devil didn't like this so he turned up the heat. A while later Lucifer found them BBQing and playing lawn games.
"What is going on here?", asked the Devil.
"It's like summer in Toronto!" was their reply.
Realizing he needed to change tactics, the Devil turned the temperatures to below freezing. When he came back to check on them, he again found the men laughing and celebrating.
"WHY ARE YOU HAPPY?" screamed Lucifer.
"Hell has frozen over. It means the Leafs have won the Cup!!"
