Deion Defends PlayMaker and T.O.: Huh? The Mouth of The South is shown support by The Former Mouth of The South.

I thought Jimmy Hart was the mouth of the south.

Actually it was Ted Turner, but Alexander City, AL and Fort Meyers, FL have donated the current and previous (respectively) Mouths

Do we need a new thread every day? Couldn't this just go into the old one?

How does this rate a "huh?" Deion sticking up for a former teammate and another me-first showboat is not exactly a surprise.

Michael Irvin is totally innocent. I know the whole situation, and it isn't what it seemed. PrimeTime must have been at Mike's house for Thanksgiving, too. It's like someone working a job 9 to 5 and they don't apologize to their boss, they're fired. Your point being? That does happen in many occupations. Not that Deion would have any experience down those lines. A man should be able to work and make an honest living and do what he loves to do. He (T.O.) is still making a living. His job duties have merely been altered. Receiving his paycheck allows him to continue making a living. The sports media, when you really think about it, have a fairly simple job. Throw a microphone in the face of any of literally hundreds of athletes, who wind up spouting off comments without any thought, and you've got entertaining copy. There's a reason why I, personally, watch less and less of these ridiculous pregame shows each week, and it's mainly due to the fact these same nitwits are sought out by networks to bring their talent for talking like morons to their loyal viewers. It's so painful to watch. And, yes, I do realize Deion is still playing (?), but it's just a matter of hours, probably, before he's back on the set at CBS, FOX, or wherever. Not really a tremendous testimonial to the educational programming at Florida State. And, yes, this thread could go on any of the many previous ones, but these issues more closely resemble spider webs these days. More and more individuals are getting tangled up it it.

It's a natural, the ass supporting the jackass.

As far as pre-game shows, I only watch cartoons or old westerns. Gooo Bears.

The "Huh?" was referring to the rampant idiocy involved in the Sanders supporting Irvin/Owens Camp. Again, I repeat, "Huh?"

What's the common denominator between the TO defenders(jesse jackson, arlen specter, Deion)

Do you hate Deion or T.O.? Both, or, um, Bof

posted by Bill Lumbergh at 10:04 AM on December 01, 2005

I think T.O and Sanders are really secret lovers and are going to get married overseas like george michael.

Can't stand the pregame shows, I'm starting to fall asleep during games because of the commercials (and this is when I'm watching MY team), if I'm not watching my favorite team I'm pretty much guaranteed to be alseep/watching something else by halftime. I'm 22 and I think I'm about done with regular season sports television. Meh, I should just get season tickets :)

They (Deion and Michael Irvin) are both pieces of garbage anyway.

The epitome of money whores backing up each other...it makes me sick. These professional athletes have completely removed the word class from sports now. It really is disgraceful to even compare an ordinary man working a 9-5 job to anything these overpaid prima-donnas do.

ESPN has suspended Irvin from his job for a week. Oh well, he always has his movie career.

If I wasn't 15 I'd find Owens and Deion and slap them in the face.

It doesn't really bother me that "primetime" is running his mouth its only obvious no one cares about him playing ball right now so he had to get some attention his way. The worst part is Jesse Jackson and Specter got involved, don't they have other bigger things to worry about.
