Father of former ASU player sues: ASU for not controlling his son? This is almost as stupid as that lady spilling coffee on herself and suing McDonalds because she got burned. The kid was college aged. He should be able to control whether or not he should go to a bar.

Coaches Ranking Picks: The Coaches get to make out their own top 25 each week. Take a look at some of these WEAK picks. (Spurrier has a mediocre at best team and still does obnoxious $hit)

Not to excuse Barry, Sammy or Big Mac, but were any of those things they took or supposedly took against MLB rules at the time? (yes they may have been against the law of the state they lived in, but if NBA tested for an illegal substance, say marijuana, the coaches would have to put on unis and pick four other guys from the stands to round out thestarting line ups. In my opinion, the NBA is the biggest crock of crap in pro sports) I do photography on the side, and I am willing to do anything legal to grow my business. For Bonds, Sammy and Big Mac, their business is contingent on their success in baseball Is it right? No. Do I see why they tried to take every little advantage they could? Yes. BTW Valium, Ty Cobb was not only a racist, but also probably a murderer. He pistol whipped a guy. The guy died from the injuries sustained. Chandler

Hey Cody, I do feel for you. I remember when the balloon went up in Somolia. When the UN was pulling out of Mogadishu my brother (who was a Lance Corporal Marine Infantryman) was put on a ship and sent to Somolia. He was on the ground for a short while at the Mogadishu Airport while the UN loaded up. His unit took and returned fire on a few occaisions. He got home fine. I was more than a little worried and I am torn when the US intervenes in other countries, but we (as the most powerful country in the world) are saddled with the responsibility of being the world's policeman. It isn't fun and sometimes I think it isn't right, but the world's business is our business and I knew all along that Eric joined voluntarily and did whet he felt was right. I wish peace and comfort on you and the family of your friend. Tell them I empathize with their sacrifice and I wish to thank them and him for his service. Chandler

USC? What about me? I am the fourth person to teach in this classroom in the last 8 years. 2 have died and one lost her husband (who was in his early 30's) in that time. It makes me paranoid.

Not to defend Barry, but I think most of us wuold like to be famous and make big $. The reality is that being famous is so overrated that you couldn't believe it. (Not that I am famous, but trust me, I know) The guy can't leave his house without someone wanting to talk to him whether it be a reporter or a fan or some hustler. I really always wanted to be famous myself, until I met some folks who were. That maybe the last thing I would ever wish on someone. A$$ or not, I believe I would want people to leave me alone too (Sports reporters can be obnoxious and they do ask Stupid questions sometimes.)
