I thought the whole 60 minutes interview was very poorly done, almost as if they let Roger off the hook, when they could have basically proven him guilty. Clemens' response of, 'If I'm taking all of these drugs, why don't I have a 3rd eye growing from my forehead? Why arent' I pullin' tractors with my teeth?' was idiotic. I haven't noticed a 3rd eye on Pettite or Palmiero. Clemens' repsponse of, 'If I'm taking all these drugs, where did i get them from?' makes about as much sense as Whitney Houston saying you can't prove she's on drugs unless you show her a receipt from a drug dealer. "crack is whack." Clemens' response of, 'After 25 years why would I want to take the stuff?' Well, because you love the sport, the fame, the money and the adulation and you don't want it to stop, you know that your glory days are nearing an end and you want a few more. Clemens' response of, 'I don't know if a lie detector test would help me, or not.' If you're innocent, say Hell Yes, hook me up to the damn machine right now. I thought the whole interview made him appear more guilty, not less. I recommend a book by Malcolm Gladwell called, Blink. It helps in the identification of inauthenticity when it presents itself.

I normally don't jump on the "unfair tax" bandwagon. However, try as I may, I simply cannot think of any justifiable reason the average New Yorker (who may not have the slightest interest in baseball, or, may be a Mets fan) should have to shell out coin so that ARod can park his Rolls Royce in privacy. Seems like something the club should pay for.

A sad reality: Anytime I read about abnormal greatness, somewhere deep within myself, a question about possible steriod use arises, with absoutely no proof or reason to suspect. I imagine I'm not the only one......

It's ironic that the evil empire has a problem with a guy who exercises a clause that they mutually agreed to. Screw that. The Yankees organization does not deserve loyalty. They hire guns and discard them all the time. A-Rod helped the club while he was there, and owes them nothing further. I for one (and it seems I'm about the only one) think that A-Rod should face no ill-will for opting out.

I wonder if AROD opted out partially because he knew he didn't want to play for Girardi.....

Turning Your Vagina Into A Nice Apartment and Spending Money.... is my personal favorite. How humiliating for Bonds, his woman narcs on him and says she faked it at the same time. Hell hath no fury....

Who is going to replace Tiger Woods?
John Daly appears to be focused anew on climbing the world rankings and filling in for the debilitated Mr. Woods. Nothing says, "I'm trying to get sober and make a comeback" better than partnering in the Buick Open pro-am with Kid Rock. I live in MI, and the local news claims that Daly and Kid are pre-partying before their round at the Rock estate.
