CFL Pick 'Em, Week Four: The newcomers continue to hang on to first, but it's getting crowded at the top at the old-timers have started chipping away. I think we've found the narrative for this season, guys! Bury your ledes and make your picks inside.

On a side note, I can't believe I've gone 4 for 4 two weeks in a row (too bad I can't get the point spread right/lol). Of course, now that I've said something, I'm doomed this week (sort of like the no-hitter thing/lol)

With great regret, I find I will not be able to continue to show SpoFites how to succeed at making a fool of oneself when picking football outcomes. My schedule over the past week or 2 has been such that I have limited time to follow the CFL. Next week I will be entirely media free while I am off with the church youth group to a work camp in upstate NY. Instead of picking football teams, I will be picking up 2X12 joists and building a deck or a wheelchair ramp. I get to work with a bunch of teens who not only feel like they want to help others but also will get in and get their hands dirty. This will be my 4th camp, and when I have come home from the first 3, I always feel just a bit better about where the USA is headed. See you in a week or 2.

Wait, are we supposed to be following these games?
Kidding. Have a great time Howard, and kudos on the work you are doing. Something tells me that you can pick right back up in three weeks and end up in the thick of things.

Life is tougher for the East this week. Ottawa's dream of an undefeated season comes to an abrupt halt in Edmonton.
Winnipeg hangs on to scratch out a win against Montreal. B.C. needs a fourth-quarter comeback to beat the Riders,
and Calgary holds off an Argo comeback to win at home.
jags and tahoe grab four points each to stay in first - but they have company! argoal nails his second spread in as many weeks to join the first-place tie.
Nothing like a couple of early-season home-and-homes to really get the grudges rolling.
WEEK 4
Hamilton @ Montreal (Thursday, July 16)
The Ti-Cats, fresh off a bye, roll into Montreal, fresh off hoping that Rakeem Cato can do the job. After a sparkling 3-TD debut, Cato was held off the board last week, but kept his team in the game with 317 yards thrown. Montreal hopes he can keep that up, because there's noone else to play.
Edmonton @ Ottawa (Friday, July 17)
There's no sugar-coating it: Ottawa was flat-out embarrassed in Edmonton last week. But most of the damage was done early in the game - the second half was almost respectable. Ottawa hopes to build off that heading into the second half of the home-and-home.
B.C. @ Saskatchewan (Friday, July 17)
Here's the definition of tough luck: Saskatchewan is 0-3, but only -9 in season points differential. With the home winds on their side this week, they're looking for some lucky breaks to start going their way.
Winnipeg @ Calgary (Saturday, July 18)
Here's an early battle of division leaders, and nearly the only two teams who still have their preferred starting quarterbacks. Calgary's been the legacy favourite for a while now, but this could be a statement game for Winnipeg as they try to finish off their rebuild.
Good luck!
