The fact that some guy from outside North America is currently leading our pool is a sure sign that my failure is obviously just as big of a fluke. Ahem. That said, I'm sorry to do this to all the Tigers fans, but: Tigers in six Nate Robertson .005

se·ries (sîr'?z) n., pl. series.
Emphasis mine. I was using LCS as the plural. "The LCS" is an abbreviation of "The League Championship Series, Both of 'Em".

Are you referring to my statement, DJE? The *whiff* was meant to refer to the fact that my score for said round of playoffs was an ever fantastic Zero.

Now I have to find out if the Asia-Pacific service of ESPN is carrying the series, as I'll be in Samoa. Cards in 7 Pujols 0.366

Just a fix to the second note: replace PA with AB, because of course BA is calculated with AB and not PA, and of course you can have multiple PA without having an AB. TY!

I have to abstain. It's really unfair to fans of boths teams. Based on my performance (1-5), I'm a reverse lock for sure.

I love these guys picking their pitchers to hit .005, hedging their bets just in case he goes 1 for 100 in the Series. The NL hasn't won a game in the World Series since 2003. And this Cardinals team is the worst of the lot. Tigers in 4. Plácido Polanco .500 (And will a baseball guy ever win a baseball pool? Or a soccer guy a soccer pool? Or a... well, you see where I'm going with this. What's with?)

I love these guys picking their pitchers to hit .005, hedging their bets just in case he goes 1 for 100 in the Series. Ha, I thought the exact same thing. Also, the only way Carpenter can bat .133+-.005 is if he bats 2/15. That's a lot of at bats, even if he gets 3 starts. Let's go for the double bagel: Cards in 6 Yadier Molina .300
