If You Play Golf With Trump He Might Touch Your Balls: “To say ‘Donald Trump cheats’ is like saying ‘Michael Phelps swims,'” writes Rick Reilly in the new book Commander in Cheat: How Golf Explains Trump, out Tuesday. “He cheats at the highest level. He cheats when people are watching and he cheats when they aren’t. He cheats whether you like it or not. He cheats because that’s how he plays golf … if you’re playing golf with him, he’s going to cheat.”

Steph Curry Taunts Refs, Then Dodgy Call Gives Warriors a Loss: Steph Curry sank an epic three with a half-second remaining to tie the Golden State Warriors and Minnesota Timberwolves in overtime at 130. But it didn't go to double overtime. Curry taunted referee Mark Kogut repeatedly after making the shot, even needing to be separated by a teammate. On Minnesota's desperate in-bound pass, another referee made a questionable foul call, giving the T-Wolves free throws that won the game 131-130.

Did Le'Veon Bell Make the Right Decision?: Deadspin staff writer Dom Cosentino digs into the numbers of Le'Veon Bell's contractual options to determine whether he did better or worse financially by losing a year of salary and signing with the New York Jets. Bell got more guaranteed money than the Pittsburgh Steelers were offering (advantage Bell), but if you treat year one of any big deal as implicitly guaranteed the math starts to look different. As Jason Fitzgerald of Over the Cap put it, "You're not paying someone $10 million to cut him before he steps foot on the field."

NFL May Make Pass Interference a Replay Challenge: The NFL is considering proposals to add pass interference to a coach's red-flag replay challenges. One proposal just adds interference. Another adds interference, roughing the passer and defenseless hits. A change requires 24 of 32 owners and could happen this week when they meet in Phoenix. Pittsburgh Steelers owner Art Rooney II told the team's website, "There's more interest in looking at how we make sure that plays are getting corrected than in other years."

Detroit Red Wings' Ted Lindsay dies: A badass on ice, a gentleman off: On the ice, Lindsay was cocky and abrasive and would do anything to win. He was a highly unusual player in the post-World War II National Hockey League, a brainy boat-rocker who repeatedly challenged the conservative league establishment. Those qualities — plus his enormous talent — made him one of the most memorable and controversial players in NHL history and a fan favorite for decades in metro Detroit, where he lived for more than 70 years.
