Man, I sure miss the opening day festivities in Cincinnati. The whole town shuts down, schools close, the rowdiest parade of the year is thrown, and the game sells out for the only time all season.

Work buddy headed to see the Twins vs Cleveland. He took his wife, not me :(

I heard former Rangers pitcher Mike Bacsik on a pre-game show today. I was curious what he was up to these days and looked him up on Google, where I found this tweet: "I don't believe we evolved from apes. I've had that thought for a while, why the other apes won't evolve like we did. Because I believe God created man and God created ape."
Thus ends my curiosity about Mike Bacsik.

You'd've thought he would have given Twitter up years ago after it got him cut off from working with The Ticket as he was trying to get into the radio game.

Is anyone going to a game on Opening Day? I'm sorely tempted to drive to Tampa to see the Astros play the Rays at The Trop, the best worst MLB stadium of all time.
