Thanks for closing the Hardaway thread...: Maybe for the next couple weeks, as a group, can ease up on the Gays in Sports threads? I really want to discuss it, but there's a small segment of the membership that are shitting all over the threads and ruining it for everyone. I know the idea of a column was tossed around in that thread and I'd love to read one on the topic.

Jennifer the Russian Spam Posting Bot.: All from "MosNews". If they were all espn links, I wouldn't suspect too much that she was trying to drum up traffic. Never replies to our commentary. We've discussed this before in some of her threads, sort of hoping she'd defend herself, but the Mosbot just keeps going.

Would anyone be interested in having lockerroom discussion threads during games? We did it during the superbowl and it was fun. We've got some NBA playoffs coming up, not to mention NHL, plus there's those all-season ticket packages cable services offer for baseball, not to mention the delightful Fox and ESPN baseball games of the week... rcade sort of mentioned something like it in his interview.

CBS Sportsline or Yahoo fantasy baseball leaguers: Week 1 is in the can. Are we going to do weekly updates? Can we get a volunteer from each league? (i'd volunteer, but i cannot do the snazzy standings/leaders in tables like last year's weekly updates had. i dont know if those are wanted/required in the update. they were kinda nice though.)

Ask Spofi: How would a salary cap be initiated in baseball? I understand after the current bargaining agreement would have to expire. Who initiates such a thing? Could this ever happen? The luxury tax thing isn't working. Some teams have a small budget. Some have a larger budget. And some have no budget at all.
