The driver of another vehicle got out and opened fire...............The driver of the car Francis was in attempted to drive away but Francis, who was sitting in the back seat, was shot multiple times....... no one else in the vehicle was injured. Sounds like a perfect hit to me. I can't wait for all the facts to surface in this one.

Right on THX-1138. Your uncle is a wise man, and his definition (if you can bet on it, it's a sport) is on the money. No dictionary could define it better.

Davis better take a page outta Jerry Jones' (Cowboys) playbook i.e. stay in the owner's box and leave the coaching to the coach. They are both dicks.

I witnessed my wife being threatened by a man that I learned later to be intoxicated," Davis said in a statement issued after the game. "I saw him touch her, and I know I should not have acted the way I did, but I would have felt terrible if I didn't react. There was no time to call security. It happened too quickly." I see nothing wrong with his reaction.. Whatever he witnessed took his mind totally off the game, an overtime thriller, sent him hurdling over the scorers table and up ten rows of seats. Instead of losing it and cold-cocking the fan, he assessed the situation and handled it accordingly. The dude showed a lot of class and that he won't put up with any shananigans.

chris, please stop signing your posts and comments Message received terrapin. I'm new at this and learning as I go along. Thanks for the advice. All the comments so far have been really cool. I wasn't sure what kind of reaction I was gonna get by posting the Gracie article, so I'm thrilled to death about all the posts.

“There’s only one way to find out,” said Gracie, “and that’s why we’re here.” Would this affect Gracie's ability to compete? I'm not sure. He seems skilled enough that he could adapt, but we'll have to see. posted by grum@work Mr. Grum, your ending remark is the same as Gracie's in the interview. We'll find out come May. I totally agree with you about watching 2 men role around on the ground for 20 minutes. It can be quite boring. The sport evolved from those one round days to its present format for the very reason you mentioned: 'good tv'. However I do miss the concept of one dude fighting not 1, but maybe 3 or 4 dudes with no weight class as Garfield mentioned in one night to win the belt. No pun intented but that was tough man. Peace, Chris

I just hope Vanderjagt doesn't put a cap in his brain. I can't help but feel for those kicker dudes when they miss the do or die kick. That said, I agree with the masses, the Steelers played better ball and deserved the win. Peace, Chris
