Hidden: Son of colts coach commited suicide: It's to bad for the Dungy's how deep they are into faith. Now knowing he won't be able to see his son in the afterlife must really hurt. Because as the bibles says if you commit suicide you can't make it into heaven. Sorry Dungy's my prayers go out to you.

Now knowing he won't be able to see his son in the afterlife must really hurt. Actually it depends on their faith. Do you know what their faith is? I was only a catholic in the army just in case I got myself dead (if you have no religious preference you're the last body shipped back to the world). Other than that, I believe that if you were truly a good person (which I believe James Dungy was), you will end up in heaven. I guess you shouldn't judge a person unless you truly know him and not try to force your own personal religion on to every one else by stating what you believe to be a fact.

Ufez Jones, that's what everybody told me. Whether they were stating a fact, I don't know. But it sure scared the hell out of me enough to get some religion for a little while.

Self preservation is the prime directive of all biologic organisms. Suicide runs counter to that end, therefore some pathological event must occur. Having a sick mind is no different than cancer cutting a life short. skydivemom, I think the train is getting closer.

When I was in the Marine Corps I was No Preference which meant that when I did end up in the hospital everyone came to see me. A priest and a rabbi. They figured I was up for grabs. Cartoons? WTF, religion? Cartoons!
