A few god picks I would agree yes, but Slapshot should be on that list, Major League yup. No Water Boy? No Invincible(made by Disney, hence no cursing in a South Philly bar? C'mon yo!!) but we cannot forget the all-time classic, Debbie Does Dallas eh?(just for shits and giggles at least) What about Any Given Sunday or even the Last Boy Scout?

While I wish no ill-will on any baseball team, as a born and bred Phillies phan I can only look on with glee at the Mets misfortunes. That and taking a couple from the Braves. Seems like Wagner has a big mouth but he does speak the truth. And bring the heat. Enter Sandman.

I have no problem with pink balls. I bought my mother a pink mother's day Louisville Slugger last year. I have no idea what they are talking about when it comes to Cricket rules. Wish I did actually. Whats' next? Pink pucks for the NHL? Pink soccer balls for the World Cup? Perhaps pink footballs for the NFL?

You have got to be kidding. Just goes to show that Belichick's and the Patriot's arrogance knows no bounds. It was with great glee seeing these kids running around in the Pat's 19-0 shirts( I don't know how to make the link look like regular words) http://www.thepittsburghchannel.com/news/15224640/detail.html So does that mean they are gonna try and charge the little poor Nicaraguan kids for the privilege of wearing these shirts?

I couldn't get it to work. Maybe I shouldn't have used Jimmy Rollins' name and birthday to vote, oh well. I have been told I bear a striking resemblance to Rick Astley, which could be good or bad, I'm not sure. I'm just hoping that my Phillies have a repeat or better of last years pennant race. May they beat the Mets like rented mules. But if this thing helps me meet girls, God bless the Mets!

Oh. My. God. steelergirl, that was quite frankly spine-chillingly freaky. Of course I just spent over two hundred dollars on two tickets to a Phillies game. They ARE playing the Mets and I AM taking my mother to the game. And the seats are on the darn "score-board porch" or whatever the hell. Wouldn't it be fantastic if "the Dude" could make us all rich with the investment of our coming re-bates? Just try not to step in the pile of chew-spit yo.

The feeling of twisting while the rest of you isn't is among the worst in the world. That was one of the worst wipe-outs I have ever seen. Puts all my "yard-sales" to shame. I hope he is eventually ok.

Thanks lilnemo, nothing more frustrating then trying to have decent sports conversation and finding responses (much less the actual post) filled with mis-spellings and run-on sentences and caps abused or not used at all. Speaking of run-on sentences!! That's not to say I am some sort of english teacher but at least try to give it a bit of thought. All that aside, and nothing against Mr. Favre, Brian Westbrook is one stand-up individual. Not to mention a heck of a football player. But I am also a bit biased. Happy Holidays everyone.

Makes Philly fans seem sedate eh? I am a lover of both beer and football(and baseball for that matter) but never have I behaved as described here. I am also a Philadelphian, which of course means I have to be an asshole. I remember going to games with my old man and being horrified at "grown-ups" behavior, and promising myself to never behave as such. Its one thing to heartily deride the opposition and boo and have some fun. It's a totally different matter when violence, racial epithets, sexual innuendo and other inappropriate behavior occurs. People are stupid and rude. Almost all of them. Smart people with manners unite!! The next time we are at a game, stage an up-rising and quash the drunken idiots with force. Or would that make us just like them?

"(of which they then got outplayed all over the park)." Thats "pitch" I didn't appreciate her ripping a team-mate. I also didn't think it wise to rip her coach in print or video. That said, she has an honest arguement. That was one of the dumbest coaching decisions ever made, but it was made. Ya gotta live with it. As a big time fan of all sports involving goalies, yes, they are a strange breed. Every goalie I have ever met or been a fan of is a bit off. You have to be to allow people to shoot pucks and balls at your head!! I wish she would have gone about it differently, but she will be ok and so will the U.S. team. Kicking ass solves a lot of inner-team problems.

Never watched a haockey game in my life. Its hockey man! I love the Flyers, and yes I am embarrassed by the recent "thuggery". Theres nothing wrong with rough, hard-nosed hockey, sometimes it goes too far yes. However we can't just lay blame on the entire organization, player suspensions and fines are sufficient, theres no way coach Stevens told Jones to put the guy out in that manner.

OK, I am a born and bred Flyers fan, however I don't(and cannot) condone dirty hits. That said, hockey is a rough sport played at a high speed and guys will get hurt. However, you don't want to see boarding and leaving the skates and such. It is certainly unlike the obviously malicious stick whacking of the head like a couple years ago, yes he should've pulled up. This is hockey we are talking about. I really do hope the guy is alright, and I also hope his aggressor learns to play in a gentlemanley fashion. Its not like the Flyers want this kind of dirty mystique among their players, we after all are trying to gain fans right?

Who the hell nowadys doesnt lie on the couch flipping from station to station during a golf tournament? I have played golf with my friends (while drinking beer) where the object of the game was out-right lying!! Who really is to say what they scored aside from themselves? Keep a scorecard for you and compare it to the guy who tee's off next to you. And make damn sure the name you sign means that you were paying attention!!

The fact that "the idea was a joke that came about over real concern that not many women felt comfortable running with the bulls."makes no quality arguement. How many men do you think are "comfortable" running with these beasts(the bulls of course) women all over the globe should be infuriated at this.
