No, can can, should, and will thrive in America. I think that this year's World Cup at the Italian-American community's reaction to it really boosted soccer in America. I think when people ask you if the MLS is the 5th major sport, say yes. When they ask if the MLS has/will replace NHL as major sport #4, say yes. Finally, when they ask you if this country has become a country with three major sports, say yes, but only if the MLS is one of those three. PEople really care in America if Beckham scores a goal. I do.

Pitching has become a winning business as opposed to a game and an offensive show for fans. I wish I could bring back Mordechai "Three Finger" Brown. I really miss old Brownie. Then, my friends on the North Side in the Windy City would be feeling much less pain. After all, they are know the only lovable losers in baseball right now, as opposed to being one of three a few years ago.

I think that Tiger is not even the best overall player of his time. That's Phil. I think that he's the best at majors in his time. Best ever is Jack, hands down, majors, overall. The difference between Tiger and Jack is that Jack was also the best overall player in his time and at majors. Tiger and Jack have one thing Vijay (and Ernie, also) lack: not choking, not failing under pressure. Sergio Garcia, who is probably tomorrow's Tiger, also has the choking problem that has denied Phil many venerable titles and nicknames.

Madden deserved it, way past his time. However, it was his speech that will be remembered forever. I agree that Jeremy's speech was probably offensive. However, that's what Reggie probably would have said. However, I think Rayfield Wright's speech really made in self-explanatory why the 'Boys are still America's Team.

I don't exactly get why he got the door. I loved his insight. That means Kruk will get to force his rudeness on the others (like Dibble beofre he got fired). I don;t remember any others besides the two getting fired from BBTN. I really miss Gammons and pray for him every night. Morgan and Jon Miller should get the door, too boring, same with McCarver, reminds me of the annoying Yanks announcer (See Ya, Tha Yankees Win). Joe Buck should get the door to hell next to Ken Lay, he is 100% biased towards the Yankees. He was praying in '04 that LaRussa beats the BoSox (Ya Red Sox Nation) for the Ring. I hope his idol, A.K.-Rod, gets traded, although that would mean Mr. Golden Sombrero dons the my Halos Jersey, NEVER, leat him join the Padres. I do not want Bonds as the Ed either, no 'roids in the O.C. Nor Sosa, nor Palmeiro. Manny, yes, he's natural. The best option here: Soriano to the Dodgers, but we all know he's going to Motown. I just read the article. So what he slept with a female employee, if it was consensual. D-Lowe here in L.A. slept with an FSN anchor, and he still gets millions. Go to Wikipedia and type Carolyn Hughes for more info.

I think we should let Sonics fans speak more, it's their team. However, I'm going to say this again: the Bay Area has a team and there will be no second. Portland and Vancouver were bad ideas, they will not get a second chance. KC is the only city to have had a team and will have one again. However, I think the NEXT city to have a team will be LV, first man there gets it, Sin City Sweepstakes. It's 300 miles from here, L.A. Good rivalry wi the Lake Show.
posted by Joe88 at 11:42 PM on April 14, 2006
That adds the Sonics. Moving is popular now, at least in the NBA. The NBA is moving out of cities like Portland, Seattle, NO, and Sacramento and heading to LV, KC, and OKC. The list of teams is going to grow, but the guaranteed cities are the three above mentioned. That means other cities will get a team. Former cities, Mexico, and Canada, in my view, will not get a team. About the Bay Area, they do have a team, the Warriors. SJ will not get an NBA team because their hands will be full soon, with the A's (MLB). As a Lakers fan and an L.A. native, this is all quite interesting to watch, like expansion.

L.A. getting a second hockey is sweet, but less than easy. I hope they Do move. Relocation and expansion are single two best things in pro sports. It will be a big blow for them to NOT move to Kansas City. If they do go to Hartford, it will be a feelgood story with a happy ending for the people of that metropolis. I hope they change their name altogether and become the Hartford Whalers, again.
