fetty, it is just a sports story. Try to calm down and give your arteries a break. (steroid use?)

Iron Mike: Celebrity Advisor

A lawless life? Living on the edge? Everybody's dream? Oh Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike. That is your dream. A world where you can hit anyone for any reason, rape any woman who crosses your path... The rest of us realize that laws protect us from monsters like you. When is anyone going to wake up to the fact that Mike isn't a child in a man's body, he is a sociopath. T.O. is a humorous sidenote, Mike is a mass murder waiting to happen...

Kurt Busch,

I really think the reckless driving charge came from a combination of speeding, ignoring a stop sign, and very nearly rear-ending another car (the officer reported he had to swerve and lock the brakes) As far as being kicked out of Roush, again, I applaud their policy. I don't often have to defend the off-track behavior of the sport's stars (not that I would.) Some of us enjoy having respectable sports heros.

Kurt Busch,

Hater 187, 60 in a 45 IS reckless, not to mention illegal. He also blew through a stopsign, that is often how people get killed. Traffic laws are a form of communication, they allow us to drive with a reasonable assumption of what others will be doing. What part of zero tolerance do you not understand. The position taken by Busch's team is quite clear. Obey local laws or do not drive for the team. Tends to erase grey areas. Tadley, a union that protects its members from the consequences of illegal actions is reprehensible.

Kurt Busch,

It isn't that complicated at all. The officials do not need to intervene if the team takes care of it. I'm not exactly sure what you were trying to say after the word "type," but you were on the money when you called NASCAR an "overall...better disciplined sport." What did Barney Fife say? "Nip it in the bud."

Kurt Busch,

How does a guy go from... Easy: zero tolerance of this kind of behavior. Isn't what he did enough? He nearly rear-ended another vehicle, he sped through a stopsign at a speed in excess of the posted limit and resisted arrest. My point from above is that other sports should follow NASCAR's lead. Champion or no, highly paid participants in any sport should be held to a higher standard than the rest of us. More benifits should require more responsibilities. Is anyone else tired of the "sports and entertainment figures get away with murder" refrain? This is how you stop that... Do not let them get away with it. Ever.

Kurt Busch,

Get away with it!?! He got canned with two races to go, he was ninth in points out of four dozen drivers/teams. His team acted quickly and definatively. What other sport would have immediatly removed a front runner from compitition? I applaud the way this was handled, Busch's behavior was reprehensible. Way to go Jack Roush! The owners/officials of football, basketball and baseball should sit up and take notice. The so-called "real sports" should handle their players in the same way NASCAR does/did. But, of course, thugs and criminals rarely make their way to the top of NASCAR the way they do in "real sports."

A Black Cultural Fiction?

Too weird to comment upon, too weird not to. Just where did the logos come from? It is hard to believe they were invented out of whole cloth(and for what purpose.) It is also hard to believe they were created for teams formed for "a night to play the Rens." Snopes? Care to weigh in?

Ok, whew, I don't mean to interject a little humor into this rant, but... I have to. Did anyone notice that Tyson asked the Brazilian media not to approach him at night. He called a press conference to say this. Is he a vampire or does he need to switch to an extended release med?

"This court finds that fighting is an integral part of hockey,"

How about ban all "reality" shows and give us something real? Like, say, hockey. Use banner ads, break away from the game, anything. Just show us hockey. Soccer wouldn't be too bad either. If they can air "Wife Swap," surely they can find 90 min or so for real sports. DO NOT TAUNT

"This court finds that fighting is an integral part of hockey,"

You can knock him down, you can beat him, you can even confuse him, but DO NOT TAUNT Hater 187. Hockey, like soccer, does not have enough breaks in the action for television. Throw in enough "tv timeouts" for beer and chevy commercials and viola!

They ought to hold off on Humpy resurfaces the track before they pass a final judgement. DE? They oughtta name the building after him.

Formula Ferrari

Why are we trying to limit the money spent on automotive research? Formula 1 is the only series left that has even remotely stayed true to idea that racing is where R&D happens. All of the above mentioned developements were pioneered by F1.

Wow, I'm not a NASCAR fan, but you all come off as a bunch of racists for your comments about the fans of NASCAR. Make fun of the sport, but not it's supporters. Your attempts to belittle them has merely made you all look small-minded and mean-spirited. Besides, Robbie is an off-road racer first and a NASCAR driver second.
