U.S.A.: U.n S.elfish A.ttitude?: I know the acronym is a stretch, but can the team representing best players from the most self-absorbed, individualistic league really become a poster child for selfless play? Are these the same players with infamous reputations for contract holdouts requring millions of more dollars than they'll ever need? Yes. Have these players truly learned their lessons about sharing, or are they just pretending to now that the league they're competing in is twice as easy?

"I go out there to be unselfish and it kind of rubs off on everybody else." LeBron. C'mon, dude.

121-90 is what it takes to "crush" China is it? (Read the title of the linked page.) Obviously some strange usage of the word "crush" that I wasn't previously aware of...

Makes sense. All the really selfish players couldn't be bothered to represent the USA this summer.

I'm not so sure the problem with USA basketball is 'selfishness' (seems like a weak excuse, the Dream Team was full of me-first superstars, too). I think the problem is that these guys aren't much for a systemized international style of basketball against teams with years of experience playing together. That, and there isn't a dependable set shooter in the bunch. When you're two best are Hinrich and Battier, you're not in the class of some of the other countries. It can be overcome, but really this is their big hole. And the fact that there really isn't a great defender anywhere.

They haven't won anything yet. Let's not grant them the gold just yet.

Question marks might do the trick there too.

Perhaps both, with a little sprinkle of capitalization. (Bonus points if in your next post you use punctuation and spell out the K, W. Morse.)

Coach K need I say more Nah, I think that's enough. Thanks for asking, though!

Shouldn't that have been 'Debatable!'?
