This is so great for the As, they really need another strong bat in the lineup and they got one with milton bradley. I am excited for the As this year.

Don't throw anything at him, Oakland fans!

hey it wasn't for nobody! it was for Andre Ethier, only the AA texas league player of the year, joe! dodgers also gave them antonio perez who, besides the whole in his glove, isn't too bad of a utility player. *sigh* at least ethier plays OF, right? right??? at what point will dodger fans get to brag more about their major league team as opposed to their farm system?

Yes, the A's had a good day today. The Dodgers did not. We must keep in mind that he was traded for nobody. This is like Raul Mondesi to NYY for nobody, sold. Bradley was not even sold, given away. Although he had mercury. Antonio Perez was also traded with Bradley.

Although he had mercury. Should I be calling Homeland Security?

Looking at Bradley's numbers, which aren't that great even for a non-headcase, I think the Dodgers did well to get a standout player in AA. Reading Bradley's comment about how happy he is for himself and the Dodgers, I can't help but think that next season, he's going to be the first Major Leaguer who killed an opponent during interleague play.

It's all about the 2003 season (and the minors), with Bradley. The idea that he could put together a full season of those numbers again is what makes people give him "one more chance."

Dodgers get a star playing in AA while the A's get a guy who should be attending AA.

It was a good deal for the Dodgers. Bradley has been a head case for quite a while. Lots of potential but not much in the results dept!

Vazquez to the White Sox. They just keep getting scarier.

If any clubhouse can reform a head case, it's the A's. They're cool like Fonzi. Unless your name is Arthur Rhodes.

Bradley's got a lot of potential, and is only 27. He's wound a bit too tight, but a team like the A's has to grab someone with his upside when he's available in hopes he'll put them over the top. His health is an ongoing concern, though.
