SportsFilter NFL Pick 'Em Week 17: All the Marbles Edition: Every game in the NFL's final week is played Sunday. In SportsFilter's NFL Pick 'Em, only four points separate first-place Truthhurts and second-place Tron7. Ic2b is in third 112 back after winning the week with 133. Make your picks.
How This WorksSportsFilter is running a season-long NFL Pick 'Em contest and awarding a prize to the season's winner: an official NFL Game Football ($99.99 value).
To play, pick who you think will win and by how many points. You then get points based on the result:
Picked the winner? You get 5 points
Picked the winner and a spread within the margin of error? You get 3 more points
Picked the winner and the exact spread? You get 2 more points
What's the Margin of Error?
A window around the spread that's defined as the following:
spread - round(0.3 * spread) <= Margin of Error <= spread + round(0.3 * spread)
You get rewarded for being close to the spread. The bigger the spread, the bigger the margin of error, so you don't have to be as accurate predicting a blowout as a close game.

Stone Cold Lead Pipe Locks
You can choose any game as a stone cold lead pipe lock. This doubles the points you win for that game, but if that team doesn't win, you lose 10 points (even if you get the spread). You can make as many picks a lock as you like or pick no locks at all.
The Small Print
In order to receive the prize, you must respond to our email within 14 days of the winner announcement. Make sure you have a valid email address on SportsFilter or contact me within that time period. The prize does not include international shipping, so in that situation you can pay the cost or receive an equivalent cash prize over Paypal.

Picks must be submitted in this discussion before the game's kickoff. So if you miss Thursday night's opener you can still choose the Sunday and Monday games.
For a first-place tiebreaker, pick the total number of points scored in the Colts/Titans game on Sunday night. If two players pick the same total and end up in a tie, the one who picked it first wins.

Well, I figure if I'm gonna bring up the rear here, I may as well see it through to the embarrassing end.
Lock all of them, please, & obviously, I think by now. No clue what the Tiebreaker stuff is, but I've a strong sense it has absolutely nothing to do with me.
Giants at home by 3 just to kick the girl's in the ass.
Saints by 13...they seem to, literally, continually march home.
Pats by 11...Hope I'm off by 12 the other way.
Green Bay by 8...Don't think I've won a single game I've picked them in.
Not touching the Texans game. Not putting any juju on this one.

Tried to get my picks in last night, but something went wrong with my fat fingers, hit the wrong key, and lost everything. Had no chance to do them this morning since I had to start a beef stew in the slow cooker, get to church, and after the service help strip the Christmas greens. I now have a truckload to take to the landfill tomorrow. Since there's no chance of materially improving my position, I will take this as my bye week, rest up, let the nagging injuries heal, and get ready for the playoffs.
