Peyton Manning Throws 3 Picks in Loss to Falcons: Peyton Manning threw three interceptions in the first quarter, digging a hole the Denver Broncos couldn't climb out of in a 27-21 loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Monday night. "Each turnover has its own story that no one really wants to hear," Manning said. After the game, Falcons running back Michael Turner was arrested for DUI and speeding when he was clocked driving 97 mph in a 65-mph zone on Interstate 85 outside Atlanta.

I commented earlier that it was the strangest quarter of officiating I'd ever seen. Turned out the whole first half was a disaster of officiating. The Falcons looked like passive observers to all the mistakes the Broncos and the refs were making.

Nothing for Turner to do but sit back and have a cocktail or 7.

Come on, Peyton just had to outdo Eli. Even in how fast he threw three picks.

My fantasy team currently houses Peyton, Chris Johnson and Michael Turner. I've never felt my season was over by week two before...it's not a great feeling.

My fantasy team has won two games where I was the points underdog. I just edged a guy who has been taunting me all week. I am happy.

I think you're in trouble with CJ and Turner but Peyton will be solid. I have no idea what happened in that first quarter but he looked alright the rest of the game.

Had the Falcons gained one more yard and scored on that first interception return I would have won this week. Fantasy football always manages to bring me annual pain.

Raised in New Orleans, starred at Tennessee, and wrote his legend at Indy, Peyton is on to a new chapter and is no longer comfortable competing indoors, wearing orange, or playing games at lower altitudes.

The Falcons are 2-0, the Saints are 0-2, and in college football, Alabama looks unstoppable. I'm so deliriously happy I just don't know what to do with myself.
