Cowboys Spoil Saints' Perfect Season

rcade, I will leave you and your site. I was just trying to move the discussion to the topic that had begun the thread, whereas it had moved on to other crap like bush and his no talent girlfriend. You could have been the slightest bit tactful instead of posting the crap in your last post. You sir can have your crap for all I care. I will not post here ever again. As dyams said, "Wow". Yes, I am insulted, and you are arrogant.

"Williams, whose potential was shown by his 2006 Pro Bowl season"rcade

2006? I respect your opinions, but 2006? He has done nothing since except have an agent that convinced JJ to sign a big contract. Ogletree is the one with potential. Bench Williams and let us see if Ogletree can be another Miles Austin.

I shall now duck and watch for verbal volleys.

Cowboys Spoil Saints' Perfect Season

Since the Cowboys won, the miss didn't cost them the game and I wouldn't expect that they cut their kicker. kirkaracha

The Boys should not only kick the kicker out, they should bench, if not cut, Roy Williams. The young kid, Ogletree, would be better in the receiver mix. Williams had one catch for 14 yards and had his usual important drop that hit him in the hands.

I also think a pre-season all-star game would be the way to go. This could take the place of the game in Canton as previously stated by rcade. Great idea.

First step GM Jerry Jones needs to resign as GM. Then maybe he could find a strong Head Coach that could bring in his own staff. Read this as a call to let even Jason Garret go. Good luck finding a new team Jason. I wish Dan Snyder in Washington would consider you for the job of HC for the 'skins. The Cowboys would benefit.

Tiger Woods to take 'indefinite' leave from golf

As a 52 year old man, 34 is young. I can look back and see it. I thought at that age I was all grown up, but i was not close, and i think most are not. Again, I say that Woods needs to be given a little room to get it figured out. Now that his eyes have been opened, let us hope he does right by his wife and children. All of the comments by those that want to rag are not constructive or helpful. People seem to revel in disparaging those that have fallen. So sad for us.

Are you guys serious? The bashing is out of hand. How many of you can be honest about what you would do in your young years when you have more money than you can imagine. Oh, you say, that makes no difference. Liars. You have no idea because you are not there. There is an old quote that says power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. I have got to think that somehow applies here. Who was there to keep Tiger grounded? Seems to be nobody. Could you do it on your own? I doubt it, given the power money and fame.

Titans Owner Bud Adams Flips Off the Bills

Being a Texan, of course he's going to show 'em his matching pair, pulled straight out of their rhinestone holsters.

Even in a blowout, there just ain't no such thing as an ordinary Bills - Titans (Oilers) game.

posted by beaverboard at 07:29 PM on November 16

Bud Adams is not a Texan. His citizenship was revoked by the Governor when he fired Bum Phillips and then moved the team from Houston. I believe he was also forced to wipe the cow manure from the soles of his boots and turn in his Stetson and spurs. He is a complete disgrace. I think someone in the Texas State Legislature should bring up a bill that would disallow the Titans from wearing the Oilers uniforms. Shame.

rcade, I mostly just want the adults on here to realize that some kids do like to read what is written on here and most men would and women should be sensitive to that. If it makes those that use such offensive language feel better then they may want to think about how the rest of the world views them. Just saying. I do want to let you know that my son and I very much enjoy reading most of the posts on here and very few of the posts contain vulgarities. To those that are able to post without the use of curse words, I thank and very much respect you. This will be my last post on the matter and I will council my son to realize that not all are as well educated as he is.

If I have offended anyone for taking them to task about their uneducated use of the English language, I apologize.

Now let us all pray for an all-Texas World Series in the near future. It will take Divine Intervention to make that happen.

It's great your son visits the site. I hope he enjoys it. But we're not going to adopt new rules against profanity after seven years. We've allowed some of it when there's a point to it, like Owlhouse's exaggerated unhappiness over another Yankees title. That is what I said. When a violation of the rules costs a team the game, the officials need to be reprimanded. It was obvious. It was cheating. And Champ shut down little in that game. If he had not had his arm wrapped around Hurd, the pass would have been caught. Period.

Did Vick Break Reinstatement Deal by Drinking Vodka?

Everything I have read and heard, on SI.com and other reputable sites and shows (ESPN, etc...), including Peter King, the patriarch of NFL writers, say that the NFL says that Vick having a drink does not violate terms of parole or re-instatement. It may, though, show a lack of commitment on Vick's part and could cause Goodell to wait till after the 6th game to give the ok for Vick to play instead of an earlier date. In other words, Vick is effing up his chance to start getting game checks earlier than the 7th game of the season. Is he really that stupid? I would think that Tony Dungy would be shaking his head and saying some things to the young man.
