Who is Antonio Cromartie?

Antonio Cromartie is a great young player who will take the ball to the house if he gets it, that's who he is. Anyway, I don't think Antonio is the only person who has seen messed up shit and has had a bad chilhood. I'm sure a lot of people have had rough childhoods and other stuff going on in their lives and survived through it. Antonio, though, sounds like a good person and what's happened to him in his life has helped him be a better ball player.

Mavericks begin rebuilding from the top

Not really a big deal for Dallas because Cuban can hire any coach he wants he has the money to do so. Like some other people suggested, the Mavs lacked team chemistry and so they need to trade some key players they have. They need to get another superstar to complement Dirk because JKidd is getting older. Jason Terry and Jason Howard need to be traded for some pure scorers. Stack and Devean George can fill their roles. The trade didn't really affect them that much because Devin Harris was not a true scorer. He was fast as hell and could steal the ball but that was it. Also if the Mavs get a scoring center unlike Dampier who can't even catch, then they could be very good cuz Kidd is a great passer.

BCS officials reject playoff proposal

I'm very shocked by this decision, psych. Unless there is a playoff Ohio State and some other team are going to be in the championship game. What is certain though is that they will probably get beat down again. There is never going to be a true champion unless a playoff is in place.

Chelsea beat Liverpool, set up final battles with Man Utd for Premier League and Champions League

Yes. I hope Chelsea beats Man U but I don't see it happening though. I think Manchester will play very strong on defense. I was also very happy when Frank Lampard scored because he is one of the few English players I like. I don't think the penalty awarded was really a penalty because it was close to the line. I don't understand why everybody cheers for Man U though.

Pacman gives Dallas Cowboys a dual threat:

He could help or hurt the Cowboys. What is certain though is that he's going to do the same shit in Dallas that he did in Tennessee. There are a lot of players in the NFL who have done worse things than Pacman. He's a very good return man and I see him lasting not more than a year in big D.

Where have you gone Darius Miles?

Good move by the Blazers. He was dead weight and didn't represent the STL how he should have. He was always injured and they should have cut him like 2 or 3 years ago. The Blazers now have a good young team with Roy, Aldridge, and Greg Oden will probably play next year. Mark my words, the Portland TrailBlazers are going to make the playoffs next year in the tough west.

WHAT GIVES, GUYS? Nelson says there's no problem, Davis says very little

The whole Golden State team shoots a lot of 3s. Some they make, some they don't. And regarding Baron Davis, he wasn't shooting well at that point anyway. He wasn't even trying to take it to the hoop, just kept shooting questionable shots. Stephen Jackson is the x-factor of that team regardless of how he was in Indy. He kept them in the Phoenix game until the very end.

Bengals release Henry

Why don't the Bengals just hire some players from jail. It seems like that is what they're doing anyway. Who wants to play for this team, Ocho Cinco should just move somewhere else. The only player on that team that plays really hard is TJ Housh. Carson is a decent player too but they need some superstar players on D to make the team credible.

It kind of does feel like you betrayed your country. I would understand if she played her club ball in Russia and she became a naturalized citizen but who would go there, it's cold as hell. Russia shouldn't even have accepted her, don't they have rules like in football(soccer) where a player has to play some years in a certain country to be able to play for that country?

Kansas Wins National Title...

Kansas deserved to win the game. The shot that "Super" Mario Chalmers hit will forever be remembered and Memphis will be known as the team that won the most games of any team in history and lost the game with poor free throw shooting in the last 2 and a half minutes. Kansas also made all the right plays down the stretch and dominated in overtime. I am happy for Kansas and I never liked Memphis anyway, I think their players are very arrogant. And sportnut what happened in the game is not because of the best coached basketball team but also how the players play. Calipari won coach of the year, remember that. I think that Calipari is still a better coach, the Kansas players just had more heart and guts to win that game. I will say this tho, one of the Memphis players should have fouled with about 5 or 6 seconds left. They probably would have won the game if they did that. I want to end by saying that Rose is a beast and CDR is a very skilled player altho he could have won the game for Memphis at the free throw line.

Brett Favre Retires

Sucks for the Packers losing a hall of famer who outplayed guys 10 years younger than him. Even though the Pack have a good team, I don't know if Aaron Rodgers can lead them to the playoffs. Brett had to retire sometime though and everybody knew it. At least he ended on a good note by getting the TD record and getting to the NFC Championship Game which they almost won.

Cavs Acquire Ben Wallace and Wally Alphabet for Playoff Run.

This was a good trade. Ben Wallace is a defensive player, Joe Smith is ok, Sczerbiak is a good shooter and Delonte West is ok also. What the Cavs really needed though is a top notch point guard who is also a good shooter like Bibby. The trade definitely made them better on D and shooting cuz of Scerbiak and West. Lebron could make it to the Eastern Finals where they will fall to either the Celtics or the Pistons. I just don't see them beating either one of those teams. Lebron would have to duplicate what he did in the Eastern Finals last year and I just don't see that happening again. If they go to the NBA Finals again it's not even going to matter cuz Kobe, Pau and the Lakers bench will beat whoever and win the championship (here's to hoping).

Jason Kidd traded to the Mavs.

Nope the trade hasn't happened yet cuz my main man Devean George had a no-trade clause. Way to go Devean a Laker for life. This just makes the Lakers path to the championship that much easier. The Spurs are getting old, they depend too much on Ginobili who is the x-factor. The Suns don't have enough defense and Shaq is old and too slow, tho they will play them tough. The Mavericks are ok and even though I like Dirk, he doesn't have the heart of a champion and the killer instinct yet like Kobe. If the Lakers get to the NBA Finals, the Celtics or Pistons won't seem that daunting of a task after they have gone through the tough and grueling West which is like the AFC of basketball. The Celtics will probably beat them tho, it's been too long for KG and he deserves a title even though I want the Lakers to win. I don't care who win and the playoffs are going to be very exciting.

Giants Win Superbowl!

First of all this had to be the best superbowl of all time. Eli Manning did the impossible and the play that stood out in the whole game was when he escaped the grasp of 3 or 4 Pats defenders trying to sack him. If the Patriots sacked him then, I believe they could have won because that was a huge completion that Eli threw. Anyway, the Giants D and Eli Manning showed a lot of heart and they deserved to win. In the future, I will not be rooting for the Patriots and Brady any more because they had a chance to be the greatest team of all time and they couldn't pull it off. My favourite team is the Ravens so it doesn't even matter. Last year, Peyton and this year Eli win the Super Bowl. Who's going to be next for the Mannings their children?

Why Liverpool shouldn't suck up to DIC

I don't think that anyone wants Liverpool. I don't want to offend anybody, but Arsenal is better than them cuz they play as a team. Even though I liked the signings of Fernando Torres and Andriy Voronin, they need some better defenders. Gerrard and Alonso underachieve altho I don't think that's the only problem. I think that Liverpool plays with only one striker(Torres) when they should play the 4-4-2 formation with Voronin helping the young Spaniard up front.

Superbowl: Patriots vs. Giants 2.0

And whoever said I don't understand football, that is ridiculous man. I played football in high school. Anyway, when I said Moss was a bum, I meant that they don't need him to catch in order to win. He's a good blocker, but not as good as Hines Ward of the Steelers. Also when I said Brady was good, I didn't even know he was a 6th round draft pick. That's crazy man, more props to him, he is now a superstar. I don't know anything about how to even play fantasy football and I don't want to. It's just numbers and which players to pick which is pretty boring.

The American Revolution continues in London

For the person above BlueCarp, even though I like watching basketball and one of those players you mentioned(Kobe) is my favourite, bball players are too selfish and they have to be most of the time in order to score. I don't think they would fare so well in soccer. American football players on the other hand, play a true team sport cuz the receivers can't get the ball unless the quarterback passes it to them, and the running backs have to receive the handoff from the qb who controls everything on the field like a midfielder in soccer. I will admit that football players are highly skilled while wearing the pads, fast and strong but they don't have the endurance that it takes to play soccer. In soccer there are no breaks in play until halftime, unlike football which has a lot of commercial breaks including the three timeouts for each team. And for basketball, each team has 5 timeouts I think, but they do a lot of running back and forth, so they got the endurance for soccer. If there are players who could be good at soccer, I'm guessing it would be Steve Nash and Kobe cuz they both played soccer as kids and they both love the sport. They would both need to have tremendous footwork skills tho.

Superbowl: Patriots vs. Giants 2.0

The Patriots are going to be so focused on the Super Bowl that they are going to seem scarier than usual. Even though Moss has been a bum in the playoffs, it doesn't even matter cuz of Welker, Faulk, and the beast Laurence Mauroney. Anyone who puts an asterisk on the Patriots season can just suck it. How did they cheat to win the first game when all teams steal the signals? Anyway that just motivated them more and that is why they are going to complete the perfect season and be the greatest team ever. I just wish that my Ravens would learn from the Patriots organization and draft a quarterback like Tom Brady who is a god. Peyton Manning is nothing cuz he has always had good recievers. Tom Brady was almost god with good recievers tho. Anyway final score of the game 28-20 Patriots hard-fought game mixed in with a Mike Vrabel offensive touchdown.

Rams owner dies after lengthy illness

hey cjets, what would youd do if you were an NFL owner? Wouldn't you move to another city if you had a chance to make more money? Exactly. And while we're talking about football, even though the USC Trojans are my favourite college team, they are still just a college team. Although right now, the Rams are in the same position right now that they were in 1995 in need of a move. If the Rams fans in Saint Louis don't want to pay tickets to home games, I'm pretty sure people in LA gladly would.

Rams owner dies after lengthy illness

The Rams aren't goin back to LA anytime soon. LA has Kobe and the Lakers. Although it was pitiful that there were more tickets sold at home to the other teams fans rather than our own, why would the Rams move? All they need to do is fire the head coach and get another quarterback, Marc Bulger holds onto the ball for too long. The defense played better this past year than the offense. What the Rams should do is hire Jason Garret of the Cowboys next year. Getting back to Georgia, she had some guts being an NFL owner cuz all the other owners were men. While reading the story I picked up that Georgia Frontiere was a good person. She lived a long life and did a very good thing bringing the Rams to the STL.

Bobby Knight deserves the 900 wins. The games that I have seen Texas Tech play weren't that exciting but they play hard for the most part. That is because he is an intense, but classy coach who demands the best out of his players. I hope he gets to 100 wins as a head coach. The only coach who has a shot to catch him then is coach K.

Soccer Is As American As Apple Pie

The title of this story is obviously wrong that everyone knows it. Everyone else in the world likes (football), not soccer because that word makes the sport sound soft. Soccer right now is being forced on America with David Beckham and everything. The only way that Americans will ever like soccer is if actual soccer superstars in their prime came to the US. Americans like sports that are high scoring for the most part basketball, gridiron football although hockey and baseball are low scoring for the most part. And no people who play soccer are not gay, what about football players like quarterbacks and running backs who look at the offensive blockers behinds. Which soccer player has come out of the closet saying he was gay? Wasn't the guy in the NBA Amaechi or something like that gay or that Hawaiian dude in the NFL? I'm not saying I hate gays, just stating facts. Soccer is a very tough sport for the most part. You have to do a lot of running and there is only a halftime break and no commercial breaks before that, just when the game is over. I love mostly all sports, they all have good and bad sides. I'm trying to answer as logically as I can.

Man Arrested for Forcing Son To Wear Packers Jersey

Tahoemoj, how do you know if the kid was abused or not? It didn't say that in the story, and what do you call abuse? My father hit me and my big brother as a child but only because we disrespected him and that is called tough love. I was mad at my father during my teenage years but later on I understood why he did it. If your son keeps screaming and disrespecting you, what would you do let him continue and then go to the Maury show? It's not right to hit the kid for no reason, but slapping him when he doesn't understand with spoken words is reasonable. I am European altho now I am an American citizen and I know that most black parents in America beat or slap their kids when white parents don't. I know this because I have black friends. In Europe there are no child abuse or drinking laws although the two rarely mix. In my mind you can do this to the child if he is from 5 to 13 years old. It's not right to do this to girls though. If he passes that age, he should know better by then. Now I don't fear my father, although I respect him because he is family and he wants what's best for me. So there you go what you call abuse I call tough love. People can interpret it however they want to. I also want to say that I don't have any children, but I do plan on having kids someday. I want to close by saying that you only hit the kid when he doesn't understand at all whether he's throwing a temper tantrum in a store or he's cursing you,etc... You don't hit the kid if you are mad at a football game or something stupid like that. If you hit him then, you deserve to go to jail. Sorry for the long life story everybody, but I'm just speaking from personal experience and how I feel about this subject.

Sparano beginning of Dolphins shakeup

How will he help the Dolphins? He was an offensive line coach and the Cowboys line got smashed by the Giants D in the 4th quarter. Also the Dolphins have too many question marks. They need to draft a franchise quarterback in the first round and not a receiver(again). They also need a steady backup to Ronnie Brown cuz he keeps getting injured. Last but not least, their D is getting older and unless they draft some quality linebackers and secondary, Jason Taylor will probably leave soon. I am trying to be optimistic about the Dolphins for next year but I don't see them winning that many games in the tough AFC.
