Ty Law...Free Agent: Headed to the Lions now? I hope! I think he has at least a few more ProBowl seasons in him and Lord knows Detriot could use the help!

Umm, why would anyone go to Detroit if they were in it for the wins? (This is coming from a Lions fan, btw.)

Can someone please tell me what would be Ty Law's motivation for signing with Detriot?

Can someone please tell me what would be Ty Law's motivation for signing with Detriot? So he won't have to defend that brilliant Mike Martz offense! ;-)

I would love to see him come and play for the colts (although i know that will never happen) A veteran in the secondary would be huge for the colts.

Ty Law has championships he should go out and get the money! The colts need to worry about Edge, Wayne and Freeny before free agent shopping. btw Polian does not like free agents!

Tye doesn't need the money, he has 3 rings, so if i was a unrestricted free agent I am going to look at moving to a warmer climate, somewhere in Florida or the west coast maybe. He has proven his value too well and may never play for a winning team because this corner was too productive for most caps.

In other NFL personnel shuffle news, the Minneapolis paper is reporting that the Vikes are shopping Daunte Culpepper around, looking for a second-round pick in return. There's a fall in status for you.

Can someone please tell me what would be Ty Law's motivation for signing with Detriot? Maybe he could break "The Curse of the Honolulu Blue" (Key spooky music).

You really think Culpepper wants to put up with Moss again? As badly as Daunte may need Moss to put up the kind of numbers he has in the past, he doesn't seem eager to team up with Moss again.

I like Ty Law, he had a great year, and i believe the lions have talent on that team, they just need to put it all together, Dont get me wrong, Im a Patriot fan, i would love to see him back with us, But if detroit does get him, they will be that much better,

Why would anyone go to Detroit? Maybe he wants to try to contribute to the secondary with the fewest letters in the league, with Dre Bly? Unless he grew up there, I can't think of any reason he'd go there voluntarily, unless they are severely overpaying him.

Can someone please tell me what would be Ty Law's motivation for signing with Detriot? Money, money, money. Last years the Lions waved a bunch of it at him, but not quite enough. This year if they get Harrington to restructure the bonus he has coming this spring (yes, believe it or not he's due a huge bonus on his contract this year) they'll have more room under the cap to shovel even more in his direction. He has his rings, now it's time to think about retiring really, really rich in a few years. besides with some honest to Gos coaches this year and if they can sign a REAL QB they may not totally suck this year. Just one Lions fan opinion.

its unbelievable. the guy has a career high season as far as picks go, afterr he was out with a foot injury and he snubs the team! Its all about the money and maybe a little of the Jets wreched season that ultimitly drove him away.

I say the Raiders drop Woodsen - who is definately not Heisman status anymore and pick up Ty Law.

I'm not getting my hopes up. I got overly excited last year when he was looking at Detroit, and he broke my heart. I'm trying not to be a baby and call him a SELL OUT WHO'S IN IT FOR THE MONEY INSTEAD OF THE WINS. But it's getting harder not to say that...
