Isiah Thomas is being sued for sexual harassment.: Female executive of the Knicks renders the charges.

In my opinion, as a Knicks fan, the Isiah Thomas show has run its course, even if only for the basketball side of things. This is just sad. If its true, for the lady, if false, for Thomas. She seems like a highly credentialed pro.

These things always seem like they're guilty until proven innocent.

My first thought, as I think Isiah is a knob: Then I found this, which might be more appropriate down the road for Thomas in this case: I also very much love this paragraph from the article: The lawsuit also alleges that Thomas told Browne Sanders he was pushing for more home games at noon on Sundays. His plan, according to Browne Sanders, was to have opposing players go to certain clubs, including strip clubs, that Thomas had connections with on Saturday nights and get them drunk so they would be sluggish for the game the next day. This, I believe, would be known as "The Patrick Ewing Plan".

The problem with Isiah is that he is so deeply wierd that you can't really gauge his intentions at any time. The NYT article, as summarized at True Hoop, contains this perfect piece of unintentional comedy: She said that Mills also told her early last year that Knicks players were not cooperating with her, at Thomas's direction. She said that led directly to a promotional campaign using cardboard cutouts of the players. "Look, when I said the players would making an appearance, I didn't mean the actual players..."

How many time in thw world of sports have celebs denied, denied, denied then asked for leniency after they were found guilty? Too many! Keep an eye out for a cash settlement.

I think those cardboard cutouts are actually on the floor these days.

The sneaky little bastard lost all respect when he led a team walkoff before the game was over versus the Bulls years ago. He hasn't done a thing since to change my mind.

The sooner he gets thrown out of New York the better off the Knicks will be.

Guys I met Isiah and worked for him in the first Toronto Raptors camp. He upset me so much I was ready to slug him. After giving him a piece of my mind, he shook my hand and called me sir the rest of the camp. Is he a cocky guy yea. Is he a compentant, well lets see, Stoudamire,Camby,Mcgrady pretty good picks for little Ike. I think hes good for basketball and I resent these woman getting positions in a mans world, yea I said it, then screaming sexual harrassmentment when they get let go. If she was sexually harrassed six million of hush money could not keep anyone silent. She could get the six million and still tell. Ike I dont like you but buddy Im with you on this one. Chase that broad out of NEWYORK. Ladies Im not trying to offend anyone, I just hate it when woman use sexuality for their advantage and then rely on it as a crutch. Excuse me while I call my therapist.

Ladies Im not trying to offend anyone Um, well, mission unaccomplished. Not sure if you are a troll or a neanderthal. Either way, you have a hell of a way of introducing yourself to the community.

I think Isaiah thomas is a good choice for our next president. As far as Bill's concerned he has all the credentials. Plus I think he knows how to play the sax! (good with the ladies)

Say it ain't so ZEKE!, oh well is this a ploy for publicity on the Knicks side as well as hers! Oh, well are they still a professional team?

You do have to give him his props on his draft picks...I like the Knicks draft these past couple of years...at least compared to the previous regime. He's found some 2nd round talent...but with the coaching and draft merry-go-round, and all the resulting turmoil, its hard to say that they are better now then when he took over, maybe a little more upside. But Hoopwisdom, don't ya think that you might be judging the woman without all the facts?

time to turn off hoop"wisdom's" mic. he drafts well, then renders his picks moot w/ his ridiculous free agent signings. game over zeke.

isiah has always been a jerk. on and off the court. he stirred up controversies in the 90s with the bulls vs. pistons rivalry and made jordan look bad on the court. i dont think hes gonna succeed in winning this case.

Will why are you fighting me on every topic. Easy I got a wife to fight with. And yes I am a neanderthal. To tall to be a troll. Will, all I was saying is the workplace is fair game. There are no rules. I am sure this young lady gave as much as she got. The sexual harrasment card is only going to get her blackballed. Remember Butch Carter. exactly BUTCH WHO. somethings you just dont do.

Sfts granted I dont have the facts but a woman in this industry gets there on talent, competance, toughness and her ability to circumnavigate and assimulate with the old boys club. She is a player and she is upset that in Newyork she got played. ZEKE is great at picking talent and he isnt a bad business man just questionable people skills. The organization is behind him. If the commissioner thought this had merit he would have been gone before any of this hit the media. Remember Jordans first retirement. Remember all the rumors about him being addicted to gambling and him owing all these golf gambling debts. All of a sudden he retires for a while. The NBA is all about maintaining image these days. Isaiah would have been sacrificed if this was close to true.

I liked Isiah as a player, but since then, he character has been questionable at best. Fired twice, 5 lawsuits, 2 bankbruptcies and now this. Plus the woman accusing him is of high character. A former Big 10 athlete and well respected in the sports community. I just don't get it.
