I feel like that the Raiders are destined to win the Super Bowl this season. The CBS score bug has them listed as only LV. As in, Super Bowl LV.

Something I've mused over before, since the city is Tampa, but there is a Tampa Bay. Is the team the Tampa Bay / Buccaneers or the Tampa / Bay Buccaneers?

The former. Or maybe the latter? The Tampa / Bay Lightning sure beats plain ol' non-bay lightning any day.

This leads to a similar question, is it the New England / Patriots, or is it the New / England Patriots? I lean to the latter because the quarterback wears a different number now.

Ask the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.

rcade will advise you not to spend much time pondering the Bucs name question, as the Jags are currently the state's only relevant team.

How?! Haven't they released 75% of their team? How did they win today's game? And don't get me started on the stupid Lions.

You guys are alright.

The Jags won despite giving up 200 more yards than the Colts and never forcing the Colts to punt.

So, their game plan is to dare the other team to win? "We ain't doing anything. The field's all yours. WE DARE YOU TO WIN!" And the other team just melts under the power of that heat?

As plans go, it's better than "beat 'em with Bortles."

This is true

If Bortles could have grown a decent mustache, he might still be in the league.

Golden Knights goaltender Robin Lehner took a shot to the neck Saturday night. A hit in that unprotected area reminded me of the cricketer who got killed by a pitched ball to the neck a few years ago. The NHL should reassess whether the lack of neck protection is wise.
