Stay Messi I knew I didn't hear much about him (off the field) but this is next-level private.

Stay Messi
Interesting look at a superstar whom I never really followed at all. Thanks for sharing.

Messi has a huge protective dog named after a stocky Brazilian forward and is good friends with Luis Suarez. Little wonder the press leaves him alone. Pick a mandible and pray for mercy.

I'm working on some code to restrict new users from posting front-page links for a set amount of time. While testing this I hosed the first visit date for every user. I will be fixing that from a backup.
In the meantime, if you cannot post a front page link let me know in a comment.

The Washington Capitals are now 0-10 in games after winning the first two games on the road of a playoff series...
The Capitals' series have been amazingly brutal on the home teams:
- Round 1 vs. Columbus: Road team won 5 of 6 (To counter the above narrative, Columbus won the first 2 on the road before Washington tore off 4 in a row.)
- Round 2 vs. Pittsburgh: Road team won 3 of 6
- Round 3 vs. Tampa Bay: Road team has won 4 of 4

2001 Eastern Quarterfinals: won first two games in Pittsburgh, then lost the next four.
2003 Eastern Quarterfinals: won first two games in Tampa Bay, then lost the next four.
2018 Eastern Finals: won first two games in Tampa Bay, have now lost the next two.
The collar begins to tighten...
