What's the best uniform in "all of sports"*?: ESPN has a 64-team bracket that's more likely to provoke complaints from fans of teams they left out than it is to pick the actual best uniform. * Er, all of US sports

For example, I believe the Minnesota Vikings have the best uniforms in the NFL, and it's certainly better than most of the recent "new look" NFL unis. And why don't we just cut to the chase and admit the Yankees uniforms are the best?

Brazil and Man U are there.

It's a crime to leave the Jets out of the top 8 in the NFL.

I pretty much agree with the NHL picks, even though 5 of the 8 picks are of the original six teams. If they were going for the more "popular" jerseys, then the Canadiens should be there instead of San Jose. The San Jose jersey isn't really a favourite of mine, but once you get down to picking the 7th or 8th place jerseys... I can't think of many better jerseys (excluding some third jerseys). I'm biased, but I think the Leaf's third jersey is the best in the league. It has a really nice mix of old and new.

The Boston Bruins must be the only pro club that uses a stylised map of their city street plan as their logo. On that alone, they win, hands down.

wait, not only is the hideous Sharks uniform in the top 8, it's #3? Idiots. In the NFL new school the only good ones are the Bucs and Eagles, though I actually sort of like the Rams now that they have blue pants. All the other ones are hideous (though Denver's logo is fine, it's the style of the orange parts that bugs me) Too much to argue about here and I'm tired. The Sharks are the only real injustice, I think.

Based on my voting choices and the current poll results, I'd say there's a tendency to the RED and blue. With occasional wins for yellow. In some cases, the model (big fat linebacker ... or Shaq) almost made me switch my vote.

Obviously the best uniform in all of sports is one of: Italian Olympic Women's Volleyball Team Brazilian Olympic Women's Beach Volleyball Team Where did all these other pajamas come from?

Something on these ESPN Page 2's screws up my browser!

posted by billsaysthis at 05:17 PM on October 01, 2003

I started voting, and managed to get about halfway through when "Henri" and "Victoria" started really pissing me off and I had to stop. I wonder why Page 2 thought that would be a good idea?

Ignore the commentary. Just look at the pictures and vote. C'mon!

Something on these ESPN Page 2's screws up my browser! Those damn Orbitz pop-under ads that reopen EVERY TIME I OPEN AN ESPN.COM PAGE crash mine, because if I close them every freakin' time they open, another one pops up immediately after going to the new link. If I leave them open, the browser crashes. It's lowered ESPN.com from my most-visited webpage to "good content but annoying as shit to open".

The classic All Black uniform (not the modern shrink-wrap incarnation).

Nath: Mozilla or Firebird can help you with that, you know.

Yeah, that's another problem I've been having with my computer-- nothing recognizes my internet connection except IE. (It started happening about a year ago. Very weird, and nobody can really explain it to me... not that I'm trying to turn this into TechSupportFilter, I'm just pissed, when I think about how little I can actually do with this machine. I need a new OS.)

I guess 'Redskin' isn't disparaging after all. Thanks for the follow up stuporstar.

I dunno Dano, the Titans have a great logo and color scheme but the patches on the shoulder should be reserved for hockey... I think it looks ridiculous.

I can't believe the Canadiens jersey isn't there. Although I'm not a fan, I think the uniform looks really good.

Yeah the Habs and how 'bout some love for these guys!? You can't please everyone I suppose.

Weeds, I googled for each, but no love. The ProBeach volleyball homepage sucks....or atleast isn't capitalizing on the sport's marketable assets: just try and find more than a headshot. The best you can do on volleyball.org is a videogame cover. POO!!!

is sportsfilter "in the publishing industry"? if so, here's boucoup beach volleyball pics. i think the pantheon should grant SF his own @sportsfilter email address so that he can register.
