CFL Pick 'Em, Week Nine: Half way through the 2015 CFL season! While parity was the name of the game early on, Hamilton, Toronto, Calgary and Edmonton are beginning to break away from the pack. Meanwhile, Saskatchewan still struggles to register their first W of the season. Break up the Prairie Pity Party and make your picks inside!

A low-scoring affair in Quebec as Montreal failed to hold off a faltering Eskimo team who squeaked out a victory on a last minute field goal. Toronto gets used to coming back to win as a fourth quarter push sealed the deal in the 'Peg. The Tiger-Cats fired on all cylinders to dominate the Lions in Steeltown, while Calgary avenged a Week 5 loss to the REDBLACKS by utterly destroying them at home.

Dr. J will post the latest scores based on last week's results, but here is a preview of Week Nine to get you started.

WEEK 9

Montreal @ BC (Thursday, August 20) Both teams had had rough patches and flashes of brilliance to start the season. Both suffered dispiriting losses last week and are looking to right the ship. Both QBs want to show they're better than their records indicate. Can Montreal begin a two-week road trip with a win?

Hamilton @ Edmonton (Friday, August 21) Hamilton has shown they're the team to beat in the CFL this season. Special teams, offence and defence have all found ways to score early and often. Edmonton's defence has kept them in close games, but offensively they struggle without Mike Reilly. Can they snap the Ti-Cats four game winning streak at home?

Calgary @ Saskatchewan (Saturday, August 22) Regina is always a tough place for visiting teams to play, even when the boys in Green and White are 0-7. Third-string QB Brett Smith looked good for the Riders vs Toronto in Week 7 and is a rare bright spot in a dark season so-far. Calgary is fresh off dismantling Ottawa at home and are looking to continue their winning ways.

Ottawa @ Toronto (Sunday, August 23) Ottawa is struggling to find consistency. While they've already doubled their wins from last season, the Capital team wants to show they're competitors. Toronto could be the place to do it, though the Boatmen have shown slow starts don't mean they won't finish strong.

Just getting a white-background comment out of the way so I can have green for my tables. This is a good life hack, kids.
