And by quickest, I mean regardless of who receives the kick, which team scores with the least amount of time having elapsed on the game clock?

cixelsyd, for the receiver bonus, if say, two players have 10 catches, the one with the highest receiving yards will get the bonus point, you don't need to pick a different receiver as a tie breaker.

Just for clarification, by receiver, I mean "player catching the ball", what position they're officially listed as is irrelevant.

For the receiver bonus point, please only pick ONE receiver. If two or more players are tied for having the most receptions, the bonus point will only be awarded to those of you who selected the player with the most receptions for the most receiving yards.
posted by apoch at 11:56 AM on January 12, 2012
So if you picked two, I'm going to assume you want to use the player you picked for catches unless you specify otherwise.

Hey -- on the scoresheet you have folkways bolded for four points but credited with three.

rcade, I used the contact form to request a correction to that part of the post, in order to avoid confusion regarding the tiebreaker. I'll make sure to make it more clear next week.
Thanks to everyone who caught errors in the scoring. I'm going to blame it on my monitor dying.

What? No one picked Brady for long punting average? Never have I been so disappointed in the collective wisdom of Spofi.
posted by rumple at 10:28 PM on January 15, 2012
I wasn't going to give it to Brady, since the question asks for punter, but nobody picked the second place guy either, so why not?
posted by apoch at 06:54 AM on January 16, 2012
Where did the punting stats come from? According to Yahoo!, Lee's (SF) average was 49.5, and Koch's (Baltimore) average was 49.3, both higher than Brady's 48.0.

The NFL might be taking off yardage on the returns. I don't know that for a fact, but that's my guess.
