Lynch, Seahawks Run Over Eagles: Marshawn Lynch ran two touchdowns on 148 yards in the Seattle Seahawks' 31-14 win over the Philadelphia Eagles Thursday night. His first 15-yard score was reminiscent of his "beast mode" score in last year's playoffs. "He fights for every yard, every carry he gets," Seattle quarterback Tarvaris Jackson said. "It's like every carry is his last carry."

I've been one of the Tebow doubters, and watching him play can be a chore when he's trying to be a typical NFL QB.

But watching Vince Young last night was downright painful. The decisions with the ball, the delivery, the casual footwork, and the body positioning as pass plays developed were all horrific.

Even more painful was seeing the effect that his poor play had on him. He looked extremely distressed after the third pick. They need to keep an eye on him.

Agree. At least Tim is ok with playing badly.

The fall of the Eagles has been my biggest surprise of the season. I really thought with the Asomugha signing that the NFC East race was over and the Eagles were a Super Bowl contender.

DeSean Jackasson has to be related to Randy Moss. What a dickhead .. all that talent and not least bit of dedication. Good luck on that next contract, DeSean.

DeSean Jackson isn't nearly as talented as Randy Moss was.

The good news for my fantasy team: I had Marshawn Lynch AND LeSean McCoy.

The bad news for my fantasy team: "Hmm, Vince Young is available, and he didn't look that bad last week...maybe I should put him in instead of Josh Freeman...yeah, let's do that!"

Bad news for my fantasy team. I dropped Lynch weeks ago and am playing the guy that picked him up.

Another reason why the Eagles may be stuck with Reid and Vick. That is, if Lurie can keep putting up with the anti-Reid booing.

Good news for my fantasy team: I have McCoy.

Bad news for my fantasy team: I have Jackson as well.

Good news for my fantasy coaching credentials: I played McCoy, benched Jackson.

What a fool Jackson is. Contract year and you act like that?

I think Jackson is going to get paid huge money no matter what he does this year, and he apparently feels the same way. Sure, I'd like to have seen Jackson be a man and play tough despite getting paid min money. But if you treat someone like a child, they tend to act like a child... and that's what the Eagles did when they gave out all those big contracts and told him to deal with it.

You do have a point there. Eagles were 6 inches long on a single throw from beating the Packers in the playoffs last year and Jackson was a primary contributor to that team. Bringing in players like Young and Asomugha on big contracts and watching them contribute nothing to improving the Eagles must burn the guy.

At the warm, fuzzy opposite end of the spectrum, there's Julian Edelman, the "I'll do anything, play anywhere, pay me more someday" guy.

I think happy Troy Brown thoughts when I see Edelman helping out on D.

Edelman is just a little psycho. When I was a kid, we had a miniature schnauzer just like him. He was totally unafraid to take on a much bigger dog, and he could take 'em down, too. That's Edelman. I love watching him tackle. The whole Patriots D could learn from watching him do those little-guy tackles.
