Because I post so often, I wrote a script that deletes my front-page posts that get no comments after 18 hours. That link was picked up from MetaFilter.

For those of my age it would go: Peter Graves opens laptop he finds concealed in a 'phone booth. Clicks on Sports Filter and sees post from rcade. Reads post as voice-over gives details. Declines to comment, and voice-over says, "This post will self-destruct in 18 hours." Post (and laptop) disappear in a cloud of smoke.

Link 14801 was about the US win over England in 1950.
I was surfing SpoFi from my Incredible over the weekend and saw a link about the USA's 1-0 win over England in 1950 and made a mental note to check it out when I got home today and now... it's gone?
Did it break, or get taken out behind the SpoFi shed and shot for drawing no comments?
