Paying 100 bucks on a 1000.00 bond to be able to walk out of an arraignment after trying to bring a loaded gun on a plane is not close to being a sane or adequate deterrent. Carry permit or not.

But you'll go to federal prison if you disable the smoke detector in the lavatory of the aircraft.

Traveling a with a gun ready to go off? Fool.

Safety, or no safety, that's just plain stupid.

I don't think you can carry guns in your carry-on either. He should have put it in his bag to be checked. And, of course, it has to be unloaded.
