Greg Maddux Named Special Assistant To Cubs GM, Jim Hendry: Maddux’ responsibilities will include assisting the coaching staffs at major league and minor league spring training, assisting in the development of Cubs minor leaguers during the regular season and assisting Hendry and the baseball operations department in talent evaluation.

I know that spellchecker disagrees with me, but I find that the plural 'staffs' still sounds awkward.

As a Phillies fan I'm psyched Maddux has moved on from his years with the Braves. Having him in the organization is a boon for the Cubbies.
