Eli Manning may not be able to go this Sunday. The Raiders are coming to town.

Do the Giants actually need to have a QB on the field for this game?

After Sheldon Souray got rode into the boards by Jarome Iginla, Pat Quinn had an interesting comment which seems to encourage the kind of dirty violence the NHL has been weeding out:

"I don't understand the players of today," he said. "If that had happened in the old days he would have got hit over the head with a stick right after. It was a pretty dirty play in my opinion. He poked his feet out and then piled on top of him. Somehow they never deal with that crap and they won't let the vigilante stuff happen to deal with it. It's disappointing."

Apparently they've just traded for Trent Edwards, so no biggie.

Don't start that again

I don't think they would trade for a QB for just one game - especially against the Raiders. If this trade is true, it appears that Eli is hurt worse than I've heard. That would be a biggie.

Pullmy, I should apologize and link here as to why I posted that. A bit of fun at a mistake post in this thread a couple of days ago.

Thanks. I was just about to turn on sports center to see if it was true.

Rockies looked good in their win last night. Jim Tracy for manager of the year. Wish the Pirates could get a manager like him to turn our team around. O wait nevermind. Guess that comes back to the quote"Can't Polish a turd"

Yesterday afternoon's game about killed me. Two outs in the ninth, and then it all goes down the drain. Well, now to come back from 0-2 down. Go Cardinals.

Debo, you can polish a turd. It's just messy and you'll be smelling forever if you try to get a shine.

I feel sick for Holliday. Hope it doesn't grow to Buckner status.

I am surprised that some black NFL players are going on the record that they won't play for the Rams if Limbaugh buys the team. "II don't want anything to do with a team that he has any part of," said New York Giants defensive end Mathias Kiwanuka. "He can do whatever he wants, it is a free country. But if it goes through, I can tell you where I am not going to play."
