I don't know if this has been posted before, but even if it has it bears repeating. Apparently, nothing in the world could be more painful to Mark Littell than giving up Chris Chambliss' homer in '76. Nothing. Does anybody put the rant into an art form any better than Denis Leary? Now, I ask you...

"I'd Like to order a nutty buddy please.'' "Yes, sir and what size?" "the boss" "I'm sorry, I couldn't hear..." "the boss" "I'm sorry, what size again?" "EL JEFE!"

"Ya happy Braveheart?!" Denis Leary and Lenny Clark almost kill the Red Sox broadcasters. Sidenote: Baseball-Reference.com uses a short form for page names for individual players: AB#.html A= first 5 letters of the last name (or less than 5 if it is a shorter last name) B = first 2 letters of the first name # = 01 if it's the first time the combination is used, or incremented by 1 if used previously. For example, George Bell (Blue Jays OF) is listed as: bellge02 (because there was a previous George Bell in the majors). Curt Schilling appears as shilcu01. Kevin Youkilis, on the other hand, has an unfortunate coincidence with his player page designation: youkike01

Top 10 list. 4. You know your mates by their online 'handles' rather than their real names

An article about the Jeter/ARod error during Thursday's game, and how ARod can't catch a break. One of the strangest plays I've evers seen. If the story about jeter talking to the score keeper is true, that's pretty funny.

I highly suggest that you check out "Rhinocerous on a Bus." It's kind of slow, but the payoff is great.

It's All in the Swoop Save the bowl. The Owensboro, Kentucky skatepark has been closed for a couple of months now, so I'm anxiously awaiting the completion of the Bowling Green park. I already wrote a check for $250, but I think it would be real cool if SportsFilter donated $500 to have it advertised on a 12" x 16" sign at the park.
