I hear ya, garfield. Good thing Ronny rested himself so he could be fresh for a second-rate Danish outfit in a meaningless group-stage Champions League game. And yet I record my best week ever and crack the weekly top 3 for the first time, thanks to a defence that includes bargain-basement Sheff Utd and Fulham wasters. Unsustainable...

Shoreditch United has been reborn as Inter Hoxton, sporting a fresh new kit and a can-do attitude. Rah!

There's still plenty of competition for the last two Champions League places, so to speak...

It was a dark day when my sports station of choice cut Jim Rome short for the insufferable Kornheiser ("Kornhole") show. Blah.

I'm pretty ambivalent about the remaining draw, though Armenian blood precludes me from supporting anything Turkish. To see Korea win convincingly and without scandal would be neat, I guess.

"Yeah, those are the breaks," Reyna said. "But we're not going to cry like the Mexicans did. That's the game of soccer. We had other chances."

Another Rivaldo here. I remember taking one of these several years ago, and I ended up being David Platt. Reconcile that.

Spofi EPL FFL
A minor quibble, but Drogba scores a hat-trick, adds an assist, and is everyone's Man of the Match. Still, he gets only a +1 bonus? The +3 goes to Essien, which is weird, but even stranger is +2 to Terry. Two defensive-minded players get more bonus points than a rampant Drogba, and for what? Repelling the mighty Watford attack?
