Idea* Why don't we make a quiz based upon the guidelines already setup? This would mean they have to read them, and might actually understand them more throughly. (Even though most of them are self-explanatory.) An example question would be something like "Whats rule states that use of AOLisms isnt allowed"... etc...

Im totally for the perm. link to the guidelines. Now that spofi has grown so much, we should really enforce the rules to newbies and vets alike. Also, I would like a link to the spofi merchandise. From when I joined, I was told there were t-shirts and mugs. Is this true? If so, then maybe we should have a link to that too. (if they exist)

I can check recent articles from my home page on Yahoo, and deleted articles are often there for commenting hours after deletion.

Great idea- however, I was thinking maybe something like 10 comments or so. 15 seems like alot, but whatever- its not like I have to worry about it. Either way good idea- and I completely agree with terrapin.

So.. what if someone makes occasional errors every once in a while? I know that I often make errors, but I also try to correct them as much as I can. I dont know if its possible, but can the administration add on a spell check button to the comment entry box? If so, that would be really helpful. But either way, I think that everyone just has to step it up a little and make the effort to avoid mistakes.

Cody- my cousin had a similar boat and loved it- but if your going to buy a boat, you should wait untill winter, since prices drop some.
