Mean Green Football Coach Fades to Black: The University of North Texas football program made news last week with a booster's threat to withhold $1 million over Coach Darrell Dickey's firing. They might make news next week over events during Saturday's game, as I explain in a SportsFilter subscriber column.
I thought it was the Sportsfilter "This content you have to pay for just because our pop up adds that cover the whole article with no discernable close button don't quite bring us enough money" column, with a stupid orange icon next it. Because Orange means subscriber! If he's going to bring in his own jerseys he should at least have the class to get his players names put on them. Jeez.

Weird stuff. Does Dickey want to be coaching the varsity squad at Bellevue next season?

It's like "how much more black could the uniforms be?", and the answer is "None. None more black."

You know, you could have done the numbers in black, with a kind of off-black outline. Well said, O Head of the Caden.

Did I read today where they're going to name the atheletic complex after Dickey?

"SportsFilter subscriber column." Don't you mean SportsFilter Insider? Or maybe you meant SportsFilter Select? And either way, shouldn't it have an irritating orange icon next to it? (And seriously, I thought it was weird enough when I first saw it, but the details on the black uniforms is just... bizarre.)
