"Yeah, Stephen, I’m Will from Deadspin, I wanted —"

"From where?" Stephen spat.

"Oh, Deadspin. Deadspin.com. It’s a Web site."

"Oh, OK. Ya’ll should have come up with a better name than that."

Will from Deadspin sits in the audience of Quite Frankly with Stephen A. Smith.

He should be happy he got someone to sit in the audience. I know they gave Summer Sanders a show so they had to give Stephen A. Smith (the middle initial makes you so much more credible) a show too. But Summer Sanders has something you don't Stephen, boobs. And her show's still unwatchable.

What's a deadspin? If I was naming a web site for obscure sports jargon, I'd call it Testicular Torsion.

Mr. smith is an idiot. He kind of reminds me of those conservative talk show hosts with thier I can yell louder than you so I must be brighter mentality. My 10 year old brother makes more astute observations then he does.

Sanders isn't all that great as a caster, but yeah, at least she's pretty, and that Hot List show doesn't require much of her past reading the cue cards. Smith has no such fallback attributes. He doesn't even wear those oversized monkey suits well. Plus, he's kind of a tool. Deadspin is as good a name as any, hemingway. Now go read a book or something.

O'Reilly was brilliantly narrow on the Daily Show last night. Pinhead? good one.

do folks like deadspin.com? i'm not sold on it. Me neither. I finally added it to my RSS feeds after the link to a Webshots gallery of Keith Foulke and a bunch of drunk chicks, but it seems to be slim pickings most days.

Saw Stepehn A. on the sports reporters awhile back where he got some pretty basic football rules wrong... it was embarrassing. All he knows is basketball(kind of) why would he talk about anything else.

do folks like deadspin.com? i'm not sold on it. Sold on it? Nah. I'll check it every once in a while (usually when linked somewhere else) and find an occasional gem, but I don't read it daily or anything. I just enjoyed the piece as it - a) was about something I'd never bother to do and b) pointed out that Quite Frankly get worse ratings than billiards*. *I actually enjoy watching billiards from time to time, but that's probably just because I play a fair amount.

Me too. Right now, its a weekly click, at best...and I think the Will from Deadspin chickened out, big time. Nice screenshot, though.
