Did Air Cause a Fire?: Investigators in Santa Barbara, Calif., would like to talk to Michael Jordan about a 40-acre brush fire near the Rancho San Marcos golf course Saturday. They suspect that one of the people golfing with Jordan, a cigar aficionado, might have accidentally started it.

I'd love to see MJ hold a press coference and state for the record that "It probably was one of my boys. It wasn't a cigar though - it was the biggest doob you've ever seen - wrapped in a cigar paper. hey, I'm retired, I can do what I want. Hell, I'm so high right now I can't feel my legs." Then he buys the golf course, fire department, newspaper and entire town.

Sheeit, if I had MJ's money and spare time, you best believe I'd have the six-foot-kickstart-moto-bong going at all times, then we'd all go out and drink beer, eat Doritos, and play golf. Newsflash: It’s been narrowly reported that MJ and RP (Ross Perot for short) held a clandestine meeting last week on MJ’s island. They are secretly considering coming back as a twofer. Gosh gee, with their combined assets, they could buy the White House and all the teams in the NBA and still have something left over for a pair of tennis shoes. ☺☺☻ (Those 3 squares are supposed to be smilie faces, but it didn't work. -:) )

Anyone else think weedy has seen a few too many Cheech and Chong movies ? I was thinking the same thing when I heard this , he can buy his own golf course .

I've heard this story since yesterday. The don't suspect MJ of starting the fire but they want to talk to him because they think someone in his group might have. MJ hasn't talked to anyone.
