There's no crying in baseball...football, now that's another story.: Nick Saban makes a rookie cry on the first day of camp. Ricky's so scared he's digging his six-foot-kickstart-moto-bong out of storage.

The first pro O-line he faces is going to have a field day with this.

So many one-liners, so little time: * I wondered where Big Pussy went after they killed him off. * Saban didn't help matters when he ordered a new jersey for Wright -- "HE ATE ME". * Ricky Williams immediately declared that he had nothing to do with Wright's munchies.

This story killed me. I know it's a very girly response, but I felt horrible for him. What's worse than crying on your first day of practice? Oh wait, I know-- having news of that crying hit the wires! Sweet.

"Manny said there was a misunderstanding and that Coach Saban went in after practice and said he was sorry he yelled," Schaffer said. Manny said he was sorry, too" Yea right, then Coach Saban took him out for pancakes! I can just imagine Nick Saban apologizing for yelling at any player...especialy a rookie!

Did you see the gut on that guy? Don't come to camp that much out of shape. Nick Saban isn't going to play. Get tough and into shape or prepare for some embarrassment.

Like the song says: "Don't cry out loud Just keep it inside, learn how to hide your feelings..." He should have lived by that advice. I don't think Saban should have apologized for yelling at him. That's what coaches do, they yell a lot. What was Wright's defense to the criticism (loud, visible criticism, but still criticism)? That he actually was in shape and ready to go?
